The placement record is being diminishing for a few years.

Placements: The bank firms recruit students from this college every year. Students get placed in the field of agriculture as an officer, and the students are offered placements in different parts of India. The fertiliser and pesticide chemical companies recruit the students by conducting written exam and viva.

Students can experience the agricultural science course in an exciting way.

Placements: Placements were quite good before 2014. Previously, direct placements in several government undertaking banks like Canara Bank, Allahabad Bank, Punjab Bank, Central Bank of India, United Bank of India etc., were offered by only interviewing the eligible students. But in recent times, placements are not happening on the campus. There is a chance of reopening the direct placement system by 2020, but there is no confirmation about that. Now students who have completed their bachelor degree in agric...

Review of Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya.

Placements: Placements in our college are very bad. Out of 30 students, only 3 to 4 students get placed through on-campus placements. For our senior batch, the highest salary offered was Rs. 48,000 per month, the lowest salary offered was Rs. 25,000 per month and the average salary offered was Rs. 30,000 per month. Companies like Sonalika and NGOs like Pradhan, etc., visited our campus for placements. They offered roles in the marketing of products. In a brief, the placement cell is very inefficient and nee...

A review of BCKV - Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya.

Placements: There were placements earlier, but the college is not providing placements now. Though government job opportunities are available for students, the university has stopped providing it. You should apply for government jobs after completing B.Sc. in agricultural engineering. The placement cell for other courses was also closed.

The college is only for postgraduates. There is no placement cell.

Placements: There are no placements on the campus, but the student of this college can get selected off-campus. The teachers are knowledgeable, disciplined, and friendly. They can help you at any time. When I am studying, there is no placement cell. But now, there may be a placement cell, and I am not sure.

Overview of BCKV. A good agriculture university campus.

Placements: The placements are there at BCKV. Depending on the criteria many companies and banks come over here for their recruitment. One should apply for a placement at the placement cell. Mostly, many students get selected over there. We feel good as there is no need to go out and search for the jobs in this competitive world. Many people are selected in the placement cell itself. The packages they provide are also enough for us.

The college has very good atmosphere with very renowned professors.

Placements: The college has an average placement opportunity. Many private companies come and give placements here. Many government vacancies are also released, but it totally depends upon the state government recruitment process. Generally, most students do M.Sc. after B.Sc. in agriculture. And for others who want to go for private jobs, there are opportunities for them as well.

Review of Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya - Burdwan Campus.

Placements: About 90% of students who completed higher studies in our course were placed. Our college is a government college so the salary package is fixed. Several companies come for recruitment. The top recruiting company is IFFCO. If a student chooses to do an internship, they can do it.

Dissatisfied because of the poor administration.

Placements: IFFCO and other renowned companies come to place the students of our college. After M.Sc. many job options are there and after PhD, one can become an Assistant Professor. But for all the placements, one needs to clear national-level exams. There are more scopes in general subjects.

It is an average university, and the placements after 2013 are very irregular.

Placements: 1-5% of students get placed. The packages range from 1.2-2.5 LPA. Students mainly get placed in seed, fertilizer, pesticide, and food-processing companies. Besides that, some government jobs like ADH, ADA, and AFO are very rare now as vacancies are created in 5-10 years. No internship is offered in this field, but students get a stipend in the 7th semester for Rural Agriculture/Horticulture Work Experience. After completion of 8th semester, students get bachelor of science degree.

I am satisfied with our college because the teaching is very good.

Placements: About 20% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered was nearly 1.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 50,000 per annum. The average salary package offered was nearly 75,000 per annum. Almost all students will get internships from our course and also from other courses.

Our college does not provide placements from the year 2016.

Placements: Many students pursue higher studies like M.Tech and MBA after completing graduation. Top recruiting companies have stopped selecting students from here. The highest salary offered in our course is Rs. 40,000 per month as per my knowledge that too 2-3 years before.

Review of BCKV - Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya.

Placements: Earlier, a considerable number of students used to get placed after completing their B.Tech from our college. But the current placement scenario is not good, and hardly 4-5 students get placed from a batch of 30 students. The average salary offered by the companies ranges from Rs. 30,000 to 35,000 per month. The highest salary offered for our senior batch was Rs. 45,000 per month. Companies like Sonalika, John Deere and NGOs like Pradan, etc., visit our college for placements. It is better to pu...

The highest salary offered is Rs. 50,000 per month, while the average salary offered is Rs. 35,000 per month and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 20,000 per month. Mainly IFFCO, John Deere, Mahyco, etc., and some banks visit here for campusing. BDO roles are offered in our course. Well infrastructure but placement records are not going well in last few years.

Placements: The banks are recruiting every year in the field of agriculture field officer in every part of India. The fertilizers and pesticides chemical companies through their campusing or their written exam and viva voce recruit the students from all over the campus after completion of their B.Sc.

A greenery campus, seniors are friendly, professors are helpful, faculty is good.

Placements: Many of my seniors got a chance in JRF, now they are studying at different Agricultural Universities to pursue their M.Sc. degree. Some got a chance in different government jobs and private jobs with a good amount of salary. Students work in different fields like as subject matter specialist in kvk, agricultural field officer, assistant director of agriculture, assistant professors in different Agricultural Universities all over the country.

All about BIDHAN CHANDRA KRISHI VISWAVIDYALAYA.

Placements: The placements are quite good. All over India P.G. in Agricultural Chemicals is taught in only 4 universities among them BCKV has a nice reputation. Companies of pesticides and fertilizers visited. Many have scope to give competitive exams and crack for the rest.

BCKV is one of the best university in all respects.

Placements: We had a good opportunity in the past but now there is no placement. But some companies may offer to work with them with a medium-range salary. But we have a big opportunity in the banking sector. IBPS AFO post is eligible for us through the IBPS exam and the advantage is that the syllabus of IBPS exam and my course is the same.
