Average university. Not worth the hype it gets.

Placements: We are not offered any placement. Although there is a placement cell. Our university is the only proper agriculture university in our state, so despite the fact that there is no guarantee for any job. It’s still in demand as agriculture is considered to be a course where people can easily land a job.

I am moderately satisfied because of placements but nice environment as it is rural area.

Placements: Around 40 students are enrolled in a batch. The campus placement is not provided. Students generally take JRF to pursue further studies. It's a state university and 4-year program. The top role is to become a professor or give competitive exams such as DHO.

Review of the agriculture engineering course in BCKV.

Placements: Placements in our college were very good earlier. Various banking firms visited the campus, and they hired a lot of students from our college. Various other companies also offered placement opportunities to the students. But the placement cell is closed now, and they aren't offering any placement opportunities now.

Review of Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya.

Placements: Placements in our college are very bad. Out of 30 students, only 3 to 4 students get placed through on-campus placements. For our senior batch, the highest salary offered was Rs. 48,000 per month, the lowest salary offered was Rs. 25,000 per month and the average salary offered was Rs. 30,000 per month. Companies like Sonalika and NGOs like Pradhan, etc., visited our campus for placements. They offered roles in the marketing of products. In a brief, the placement cell is very inefficient and nee...

Dissatisfied because of the poor administration.

Placements: IFFCO and other renowned companies come to place the students of our college. After M.Sc. many job options are there and after PhD, one can become an Assistant Professor. But for all the placements, one needs to clear national-level exams. There are more scopes in general subjects.
