Opt for the college if you want to live in this city and have enough money in your pocket to spend.

Placements: Companies do come but the selection totally depends on the skill and knowledge of the individual. You must be talented enough to grab the opportunity and make the best of it. Off-campus placements would be of much more help to you if you are looking for a job after your UG.

An average college with good faculty members.

Placements: Most of the students prefer going for higher education and post-graduation degrees instead of taking up placements. There is a placement cell, which looks after all these affairs. Placements are average and can be termed as at par with the fees charged.

Faculty is the Charm of the College.

Placements: The placements are good of this college for undergraduation in management. There is a placement cell which takes all posibile steps to ensure placements. Mainly jobs from banking sector are given. The average salary lies between 4-5 LPA which is good keeping according to the fee structure of the college.

The college is not as I expected.

Placements: Not every senior student was placed through this college, but I have heard that placements are not that bad here. The average salary package offered after the bachelor degree is 3-4 LPA. The highest salary package offered is 6-7 LPA. I heard that this year only the top 10 students were selected to participate in placements and only one candidate was placed with a salary package of 3 LPA.

Review of Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra - Lalpur Extension Center.

Placements: There is no scope for placements in the course. The college must take initiatives to provide placements so that students get exposure to the corporate world. Moreover, they can decide which option is suitable for them. This will also help the college to be on par with other colleges of the same category.

Review of Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra Lalpur Extension Centre.

Placements: There were no on-campus placements for our batch as well as our senior batch. Earlier, the placements were very low, and mostly, they didn't offer much to the students. So now, it has been completely stopped for the students of Bachelors of Business Administration (BBA). But, the students of Bachelors of Computer Applications (BCA) are still able to sit for campus placement interviews. Around 5-10 companies visit the campus to offer placements to BCA students, but only a few offers are good.

Dissatisfied because of the facilities as the amenities available are not worth the fee paid.

Placements: Placements in this college are average as this college offers vocational courses. Only a few companies visit the campus for recruitment. Companies like Wipro, Infosys, and TCS visited the campus last year for campus selection. However, the list of these companies vary every year. Nearly 30% of the students get placed every year. The highest salary offered to a graduate is Rs. 25,000 per month and the lowest salary is Rs. 8,000 per month. The salary package offered solely relies on students' capa...

I was not much satisfied with the infrastructure and placements.

Placements: During our placement season, no company has visited the campus for placements. But from the earlier batch, some of the seniors were placed. Placements in BIT Extension Lalpur are not much good, it is not even 50%. The college is good to pursue BBA and also MBA courses because of its brand name. One has to find an internship on their own. The college will not invite any company for internships, and the internship is not compulsory in this college.

The course curriculum is okay. I'm dissatisfied with campus. Placements are not up to the mark.

Placements: Don't pursue this course in this college if you are looking for placements, because until my batch, no company visited the campus to hire BBA students. However, BCA batch got an opportunity to attend placement drives conducted by only a few companies. From the present batch, they have started conducting an entrance exam for placements. Internships are optional, and you have to get one through your own contacts.

I chose this college for BBA, and I'm pursuing MBA now. I took admission because of its brand.

Placements: For BBA department, around 4 or 5 companies visit the campus for placements. If anyone is interested can apply for placements, but generally, students opt to go for MBA. I also suggest doing MBA after the completion of your degree. BBA branch is very good in this institute, and you receive the degree of BIT, MESRA after the course completion. The faculty members are supporting in nature.

Bad infrastructure and even poor facilities.

Placements: Average numbers of placements, ranging from 20 - 30 students each year. The major companies to seek placement here are TCS, SAP & WIPRO. Higher chance of placements is available if you are doing integrated MCA that is BCA + MCA for 5 years total. Most seniors opt. For MCA course after BCA. The placement cell is absent. The students are offered an average salary of Rs. 45,000 according to the official website but in reality its around 25,000. Only 10% of students are offered internship at maximum...

Not good for exposure and placements. Only quality education.

Placements: There are definitely very less or no placements for BBA students. Still one or two companies come for placement. Salary are not decent though one of my friend was selected for Idea 2 years back. If u want a placement after BBA. BIT lalpur is not a good option for you.

A review on Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra - Lalpur Extension Center.

Placements: There is a good placement record, though sitting for placement is optional. Still, chances are high for getting placed. The companies like Amazon, Google, Axis Bank, etc., come for placement along with HEC, Oil India, etc. The highest package in the year 2017 offered was 8 LPA.

Don't go with the brand name if u want a life.

Placements: There is no place meant as on such for the BBA students. They say BBA students spoiled the reputation of college by appearing in the interview and not taking a job so they din't call the companies this time so no placements. We don't happen to get any placements because of these foolish reasons.

Good college as per view of study not good for placement at all.

Placements: I'm from year 15 to 18th batch. Doing BBA from its Lalpur extension campus. There is no placement provided for this course in this college, however you can get job offer from outside the college, for example- I have got selected as customer service officer but I'll go for MBA not for Indigo Airlines.

Teaching the bestest thing in BIT lalpur.

Placements: There is no placement for BBA students here, but only for BCA MBA&MCA. Approximately 70%students got placed previous year with the highest pay package of ?6.5 Lacs. Companies such as TATA AIG, AIRTEL comes for campus selection. Average of 3 Lacs was noted. Apart from having a good teaching faculty it lacks quality education. There is placement cell bt no internship is allowed for BBA students, but for MBA they allow. One positive point about this college is that it provides full time BBA course ...

Worthless expensive college, BIT, Mesra, Lalpur Extension Centre.

Placements: The placements on the campus are the worst. Only one student got placed in an entire batch of BCA. In the name of placement, they tell to give Amcat exam. There is a partiality between BIT, Mesra main campus and BIT, Mesra Lalpur campus. In our senior batch, at least Wipro had come, but in our batch, only SAP came, and that too took only one student for 3 LPA package. No other company visited the campus for the placements. The juniors and seniors do not have any interaction. The placement in-cha...

It's a great college and I am proud to be from there.

Placements: The placement was average at that time both for ours and our seniors' batches. Around 10% were placed from our batch. The highest salary offered, as far as I remember, was 2.5 lacs per annum and the lowest was 1.5 lacs per annum for BBA students. The placement was offered by a BPO from Wipro which needed executives for different roles for their organisation.

Satisfied with the faculty and the placement process.

Placements: Placement was good. About 75% of students got placed with an average of 3 lakh per annum and the highest of 6 lakh. Companies that visited our college are Mahindra Finance, Vodafone, Pantaloons, Axis Bank, Tech Mahindra and many more. Roles that they offered were HR executive, finance, sales executive, management trainee etc.

BIT was a good experience in my life.

Placements: In BBA placement is not a big deal, anyway, all of my batch mates were preparing for higher studies. Graduating from a big brand is the best deal you can get for a good higher education. BIT is having a good placement department which can perform above our expectation. Moreover, the legacy of Birla helps us for placements.
