Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra - Patna Extension Center Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,

Placements: CSE, ECE branches get almost 100% placement, though the average package ranges from 3.5 to 4 LPA. Also, EEE branch students get up to 70% placements. The companies like Havells, Philips, Mu Sigma, Wipro Infosys, TCS, etc., visit the campus for the placements. Last year, the highest package was 14.5 LPA, which was bagged by a CSE student. We have a placement cell, which is average. Around, 20% of the students got the internship from the college.

Placements: Good not for other branches except CSE, ECE and IT. According to this year, 14 lakhs is the highest placement which was offered only to 2 students. The average placement is 3 lakhs to 4 lakhs which is not good enough for students. It is also not good according to its Mesra campus placements which have the lowest placements, better than this average placement.

Placements: The placement in the BITS-Patna is very decent in my batch, where 52 out of the 65 students got placed. I too got a placement in an MNC. Many MNCs like Google, Facebook, Amazon, Twitter, Infosys, Dell, Maruti Suzuki, etc., organise student placement workshops and train the student by their monthly teaching program, which makes any student ready for the corporate world.

Placements: The placements are good on the campus. More than 50 companies visit our campus. Many big companies like direct-I, Flipkart, Amazon, Intel, VM ware visits our campus. Many students get placed every year. Alike every other college, it can't have a guarantee of placements for the students. The placement administration is also not that helpful. The average placement of the students turns around 4 LPA.

Placements: The placement scenario was declining from past few years, but things are gradually improving. Almost 5 girls have bagged above 10 LPA. The average package is 4-5 LPA. The students all over Patna and nearby colleges now come here for the placements. Few from NIT and some other like BIT Deoghar, Bhagalpur, etc., take part in the placement over here on the campus. The students bag bigger on the off campus. A guy bagged 17.5 LPA this year from off-campus.

Placements: This time, more than 25 companies have visited the main campus so far. The average package of students (of the Patna campus) is above 6 lakhs. Three students are recently placed in Intel with a package of 12.56 lakhs per annum. The placement process is still going on. Last year, more than 100 students were placed. Major companies who gave the opportunity to our students are Microsoft, Intel, Amazon, ZS Associates, etc.

Placements: Placements are not as a good as one expects from BIT Mesra but still if you study hard, you will get a good package. The highest package which a BIT Patna student has got is Rs. 14.5 lacs in VMware. There are 30-40 companies which visit BIT Patna every year.

Placements: Placements for core branches are not very good. You can opt for a minor degree in computer science if you don't have any backlog in any of your semesters. System engineer, software engineer, SDE, DevOps engineer, and many other roles are offered in our college.

Placements: In the current year, 27 students out of 50 were eligible for placements from our branch as they did not have backlogs, and 25 students got placed till now. The highest salary package offered was 7 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 4.5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies of the college are Havells, Oracle, One Plus, Intel, Alstom and Infineon.

Placements: Around 60% of the students got placed. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 14,000 per month, and the highest salary offered is Rs. 45,000 per month. The average salary offered is Rs. 30,000 per month. Top recruiting companies of our college are Infosys, Wipro, TATA and many others. Top roles offered are a software developer and data analyst. The salary packages are not offered for students, and about 40% of the students got internships in any local or top companies.

Placements: There were no proper placements for management students. Though some mates of the senior batches got an offer from a few known companies and startups. This year, very few companies had started with unfair eligibility criteria making it more difficult for students. The average salary package offered ranges from 3 LPA - 4 LPA. Those senior students who were offered packages preferred studying for a master's degree.

Placements: From what I have heard, placements are average here. Only a few academically top students are sent to the main campus, where good placement offers are provided. But from what I have heard, students from extension centres have to face biased behaviour from the placement officers.

Placements: My batch time placement of minimum 6 lakh its placement is very nice have got 7 lakh placement in Gurgaon, havells company. College gives the best placement many companies come for the placement. My senior batches had also got a minimum placement of 8 lakh. Upcoming batches don't take tension for your placement you can do it.
