There's a lack of practical education so that students are facing difficulties to get placed.

Placements: Only one company, i.e., TCS visited the campus for placement drives conducted to offer placement opportunities for final year students. Only 2-3 students were placed throughout the entire placement process. The salary offered to students is ranged between Rs.10,000-15,000 per month. The rest of the students have to find a job by themselves.

Disappointed, concerning placements in 2015.

Placements: During the final year of my graduation, IT companies like TCS and Zero Choas visited the college to conduct placements for the students of computer science and IT branch. For the students studying mechanical and electrical branches, many companies visited the college during our placement season. TCS hardly selected 6 to 7 students out of 110 to 120 students. TCS generally offers a package of 3.5 LPA. Students were offered assistant software engineer role. Internships were not provided by the col...

I am dissatisfied with the college because of placements.

Placements: Placements were not good for the students of our batch and our senior batch. Rarely 2 to 3 companies visited our college for placements. Only 2% to 3% of the students got placed. The average salary offered was Rs. 25,000 per month. TCS visited the campus for placements, and students were recruited for technical support engineer role. The college doesn't provide any internship opportunities. A placement cell was also available in our college, but it was not useful.

How my college is look like and how much good and bad at campus.

Placements: Placement are good at our college but student skills required more in current era. The highest placement of our computer department is 12 students get placed in TCS company and the lowest placement of our computer department is 4 students last year. The highest salary package is 4 LPA and the lowest is 2.5 LPA.

There is great engineering life at C U Shah.

Placements: There is only one placement organised which I think is not good. The placement was done by Tata Consultancy Services, which is a leading one in IT department. Out of 60 to 90 students, they selected 6 to 8 from our computer engineering batch (haven't any idea about IT or any other branch). Majority roles offered were software developer.

The information about my college.

Placements: We have never introduced to placements. We were never offered anything. C.u.Shah is the only college in Surendranagar that was worth studying, but they made it trash. Need a lot of improvements in the college now. The college principal should take good care of the college.

Good college for the local students with average placements.

Placements: The placements for our batch was average, and only 2 to 3 students were selected in the campus interviews with local companies of Surendranagar like the MS Bearings, etc. TCS also conducted interviews, but no one was selected, and the same happened with our senior batch.

Not bad but can really improve much.

Placements: Here in the college, hardly 3 or 4 companies come for the placement, and very few students qualify for the selection of the companies. Not much number of placements are done from the college as the credit value of the college is not much that it can attract the placements.

My college still a good college. The average sort of ratings from me.

Placements: The placements are not many, but definitely few are there. They place not many students, but few of the scholars are placed with 1-2 good companies. The companies will be attracted if the product (students) is worth for the company, but not that quality teaching method by the faculty members which can improve the placements.

Lack of placements and quality of faculty is low.

Placements: Actually, the placement is not that good because only a few companies visit our college. Also, the companies coming recruit students who are good at coding and the other students are left unplaced.

The college is very poor currently.

Placements: In our college, placements in our college are very well. In our seniors, only 4 students got placed from the entire branch. The salary packages offered were also very low. Students require 60% in their academics for placements. Only one top company visited our campus for recruitment and was TCS. Students go to their field of interest and to get some companies requirements.

This college is not recommended for joining because the college fee is very high.

Placements: Placements are average here. Placement companies are S.S. White, SPM, Bering, etc. The salary offered is up to Rs. 10,000 per month. This college doesn't have internships, and there is no placement cell. The salary offered is very low, and companies which visit here are below average. Placements are available for our batch and not available for the senior batch. From the entire batch, about 10 to 12 students get placements.
