The summit, under the theme "From Classroom to Cloud: Pioneering the AI Future," gathered top experts, policymakers, industry leaders, educators, and students to discuss the importance of AI in revolutionizing education systems globally. The event was graced by the Hon'ble Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Brajesh Pathak, who joined us as the Chief Guest. Apart from this, Mr. Vivek Agrawal (MD, Accenture Pvt. Chandigarh University, India’s No. 1 Private University, has announced the launch of the first-ever AI-augmented futuristic campus in India at Unnao, located in the Uttar Pradesh State Capital Region (SCR). QS Asia Rankings 2025: Chandigarh University Reclaims Top Position as India’s No. 1 Private University 

Nov 6, 2024:  India’s higher education landscape is witnessing significant qualitative growth, with its institutions focusing on enhancing research, learning, and innovation. This upward trajectory has propelled India to claim the top spot as the most represented nation in the QS Asia University Rankings 2025, surpassing both China and Japan in university representation.  The QS Asia University Rankings 2025 report highlights India’s prominence, with 162 Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs) securing places in the rankings, including 21 new entries. This surpasses China’s 145 universities and Japan’s 105, establishing India as the most represented country in the region. The rankings, conducted by London-based QS, evaluated 6,278 universities across 25 countries in Asia on eleven performance indicators. These include Employer Reputation, International Faculty Ratio, International Research Network, International Student Ratio, Academic Reputation, Faculty Student Ratio, Outbound and Inbound Exchange Students, Papers per Faculty, Citations per Paper, and Staff with PhDs. 

 Chandigarh University (CU) stands out among Indian HEIs, demonstrating notable growth. In the latest rankings, CU moved from the 149th position in 2024 to the 120th spot in 2025, positioning itself in the top tier of Indian universities. CU’s performance places it within the top 2% of Asian institutions and ranks it first among private universities in India. It also achieved an 11th position among all Indian public and private universities, leaving behind several IITs and NITs. 

CU’s success can be attributed to its strong scores across the QS performance indicators. The university scored 90.5 in Employer Reputation, 72.4 in International Faculty Ratio, 55.9 in International Research Network, 54.4 in International Student Ratio, 54.2 in Academic Reputation, and 52.9 in Faculty Student Ratio, reflecting its well-rounded approach to meeting educational standards and benchmarks.
