Review of Chanakya National Law University.

Placements: The batch of 2018 had just one placement drive, and since then, it's always been 1 or 2 or none. The faculty coordinator or the administration of the university doesn't care much about placements, and their main focus of theirs is on judiciary. So, if you're coming to this university, don't think about getting placed.

Chanakya National Law University is the Judges' Factory.

Placements: The placements at CNLU are very poor to say the least. Hardly, 2-3 placements take place. Besides, on campus placement, around 10-15 students get PPO from law firms, research organisations, etc. CNLU is known as the Judges' Factory because of the rate of students appear and clear the judicial services exam of various states.

It is a deemed to be university, with brilliant faculty, but the administration needs reformation.

Placements: The placements are poor, and it is affected due to the place of the university as well as the university mains focuses on preparing their students for judiciary, where it excels. Even then, 10-20 students get placed every year in different law firms, corporates and banks. The average salary offered is 8 LPA. Students got placed in ICICI Bank, Vidhi Legal Associates, Khaitan and Khaitan etc. ICICI bank usually visits the university, and new firms and corporates also come randomly every year. 15% ...

CNLU is a descent place to be in. It helps you in all spheres of your student life.

Placements: Most of them are opting for judiciary. Some of them are placed in banks and laws firms. Some of them are yet to know about their future options. There are some who will be opting for higher studies and research avenues. Also, some will move out for Masters course.

Absolutely shattered by nil placement.

Placements: 5 year integrated Course. Passednin year 2019. Total strength of my batch was 140 students and only a single student was placed in ICICI. ICICI provides an awesome package of 14-15 LPA but it's a shame to the university that being an NLU which has an exorbitant amount as it's fee, it has a dismal record of students placed. The whole administrative system is corrupt to the core. They just take up all the money and do nothing for the career prospects of the students. Internship also has to be secu...

CNLU - Average as of now, trying to be the best.

Placements: See the thing is in law school you're quite dependent on your own skills and hard work, so, it's up to you that how are you able to expose yourself to the world. In this college, the advantage is the seniors and we all know that in law its all about contacts. Thus, regarding placements, we have had records of reaching Rs. 16 Lacs p. a. to almost 10 students of a batch. Furthermore, many of the seniors have cleared judicial examinations and now are sitting magistrates. Apart from that we have our...

Dissatisfied with the facilities, but satisfied with the faculty.

Placements: As I am a student of the first year, I do not have much knowledge about the senior batch's placements. But, one of my seniors in the 5th year got placed in Khaitan, and another senior got placed in ICICI. The students of this college are also trying to increase the number of recruiters through the placement cell so that it can increase the reach of this college.

Provides every possible opportunity. The willing can do wonders.

Placements: Apart from many deciding to prepare for competitive exams, people get placed in law firms, banks, NBFCs, etc. Many choose to practice law. In essence, the percentage of students places depends on the number of students sitting for the placements which is different every year. But, students of the senior batches have been very successful. Some have cleared public service exams, some have become judges, some are practicing law very well, some have very good jobs in companies, some have been accept...

Average infrastructure, faculty members and placement.

Placements: The placement condition of college is not considerable good enough. Usually law students opt for litigation and judicial services so they not bother much about their campus selection. The college has a placement committee but not works efficiently. Last year about 30-35 students have got selected from campus by banks and law firms. The highest package till yet is of ?200,000 annually. The average package for students is about 6-7 Lacs per annum. So there is a good effort needed for betterment of...

The college is good, but that's not going to help you in landing a good job. You will have to do it.

Placements: The placements are fine. In fact, they are good contrary to the popular notion, and people do get jobs with big cheques. The highest I have seen in my last years in campus placements was 16 lacs + PA. However, it also depends on individuals as to what they are capable of.

An average satisfaction gained from the college.

Placements: The placements are not good in this college. Merely, 2-3 students get placed, that too by only one recruiter, i.e., ICICI Bank. But the salary offered by them is decent. People get decent internships though. But great internships are given mainly through jacks. Internship and placement cell is in a dilapidated condition. Salary offered to the selected 2-3 students by ICICI Bank is 15-16 LPA.

I am dissatisfied with the faculty and placements.

Placements: Placements in the college are not that good. Though ICICI and few more firms come to recruit the students, most of the students find the job by themselves and get on with the work. The focus is mainly on the judiciary and not the corporate world. The institution wants more judges than corporate lawyers. Alumni help us in getting placements.

All in all, the place can offer you good or bad experience on the basis of how you adapt yourself.

Placements: I have heard an honest review from my senior that the placement opportunities are not very plenty here, and the future would be bleak if one depended on the college. One has to use their own caliber to reach the peak. Reliance on college is futile. There are at the most 2-3 firms approaching the college regarding the internships. They assess your CV and academics for their purpose. I heard that about 2 of my seniors were offered a package of 16 LPA.

National Law University that needs a revamp in administration.

Placements: The campus placements are average. But a changing trend has been seen, and students walk away with better packages ranging around 16-18 lakh per annum, but recruiters are very limited due to lack of administrative support. The highest package given in the year of 2017 was 16 lakhs per annum. Most of it comes down to the student's capability of attracting placements. So there exists a big gap between the number of students placed in good positions as against the number of students who receive ave...

Not totally satisfied with the crowd, the placement result is good.

Placements: When I took the admission in CNLU, two big placements with packages between Rs. 14 lacs to Rs. 16 lacs were offered to two senior students. When I was in the second year, three of my seniors were offered the packages of Rs. 15 Lacs. So, the placement cell of CNLU is good, but it gives better result in the judiciary as compared to the corporate.
