The distinguished speaker for the event was Mr. Divyanshu Poddar, CEO of Rocketeers. The primary goal of this talk was to spark interest and deepen understanding in the captivating field of rocket science and technology, catering to both newcomers and enthusiasts looking to bolster their practical knowledge. CT University Commemorates Engineers' Day by Celebrating Engineering Excellence

September 22, 2023: CT University's School of Engineering and Technology celebrated Engineers' Day by commemorating outstanding achievements in the area of engineering, bringing together students, staff, and industry experts in a lively celebration of Engineering Excellence. The day included a variety of fascinating activities that kept attendees engaged throughout the day. Project Designing, Technical PPT Creation, a difficult Technical Quiz, Coding/Decoding Challenges, Technical Paper Writing, Web Designing, the Engineering Innovation Showcase, Best out of Waste, and LAN Gaming were among the events. As the chief guest, the esteemed Prof (Dr) Rakesh Kumar Khandal shared profound insights that gave great value to the event. Prof (Dr) Khandal was the former President of R&D and Business Development of India Glycols Limited, as well as the former Vice Chancellor of Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow, and the former Director of the Shriram Institute for Industrial Research in New Delhi.

CT University School of Law Students Gain Insights into the Heart of India Democaracy at the Hon'ble Supreme Court

September 20, 2023: The School of Law at CT University went on a revolutionary journey to the centre of Indian democracy, the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India. This important visit was methodically planned to educate students with an understanding of the heart of democracy, the ideals of justice, and the critical function of the judiciary in our nation. The Hon'ble Supreme Court of India, positioned as the country's apex of judicial authority, represents the beacon of justice and the defender of our democratic traditions. This tour was created to not only teach but also inspire our pupils about the critical functions and importance of the court in a democratic society.

During their tour, the students had the invaluable opportunity to observe Supreme Court proceedings. Our students were able to closely examine the brilliance of legal arguments given, the respectful decorum kept, and the precise administration of justice during these procedures, which included non-sensitive issues.Dr. Simran Gill, Principal of CT University's School of Law, expressed her deep appreciation for this extraordinary learning opportunity. CT University Collaborates with Medanta Hospital to Host Mega Health Check-up Camp

August 17, 2023: A significant collaboration between CT University and Medanta Hospital resulted in the organisation of a Mega Health Check-up Camp with free consultations from renowned orthopaedic and cardiology experts. More than 250 people attended the event, including those from Manukhta di Sewa and the surrounding area. The camp provided the neighbourhood with priceless health insights under the direction of renowned cardiologists Dr Rahul Yadav and Dr Sonu Singh of Medanta Hospital. To ensure the camp's smooth implementation, a dedicated team of 10 people—including Deshraj and Raman Gupta, Camp Coordinators from Medanta Hospital—worked together with the School of Pharmacy and Healthcare students.

The signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for student training was a significant event highlight. This partnership is a crucial step in enhancing students' practical medical understanding and enhancing their all-around educational experience. CT University Concludes Foundation Skill Program 2023

August 7, 2023:  CT University takes immense pride in successfully organizing its Foundation Skill Program 2023, empowering freshly admitted first-year students and 10+2 passed students with essential skills for higher education. The in-depth 6-week Foundation Programme addressed a wide range of important topics and helped participants be ready for their academic path. Students improved their understanding and knowledge base through intense training in important ideas associated with their chosen fields. English communication skills received a lot of attention, giving pupils the confidence and ability to express themselves clearly. Beyond academic growth, the Foundation Programme placed a strong emphasis on training in study skills and soft skills, developing adaptability and efficient learning techniques. This all-encompassing method sought to develop pupils' complete personalities and character, producing well-rounded people.

The opportunity for participants to experience art, culture, and NCC (National Cadet Corps) orientation was an exciting feature of the Foundation Programme that encouraged a well-rounded and all-encompassing development. Students were able to develop their friendships and demonstrate their talents through extracurricular activities. The Valedictory ceremony was an energetic celebration of the Foundation Program's successful conclusion. Students demonstrated their remarkable talents by participating in a variety of activities, such as bhangra, Giddha, singing, and modelling. For their remarkable efforts, many pupils got titles and accolades that they rightly deserved.

CT University Hosts Five-Day Faculty Development Program on "Nurturing the Academic Fraternity Holistically"

August 1, 2023: CT University recently hosted a highly impactful Five-Day Faculty Development Program (FDP) under the theme "Nurturing the Academic Fraternity Holistically." The FDP was a resounding success, aimed at empowering educators and researchers to excel in their teaching, research, and overall professional development. Distinguished resource people from various backgrounds shared their knowledge and ideas with the participants during the course of the five-day programme. The educational session on "Academic Delivery and Pedagogical Interventions," presented by Prof. (Dr.) Avadhesh Kumar Gupta, Dean-Academics, CT University, on Day 1 set the stage for the transformative experience that would take place later that day. 

The resource person on Day 2 was Prof. (Dr.) Abhishek Tripathi, Vice Chancellor of CT University, spoke on "Holistic Professional Development - Various Verticals." His insightful contributions shed light on thorough strategies for professional development across a range of fields. On Day 3, the program's enlightening session on "Professional Development - Various Verticals" was led by the eminent Prof. (Dr.) Abhishek Tripathi, Pro Vice Chancellor, CT University, gave participants a look at the changing landscape of professional development. Day 4 of the FDP saw the FDP warmly receive Lokesh Jain, Vice Chairman-CII Ludhiana, and partner TK Steels, as the resource person on the subject of "Corporate Intervention in Academics." In-depth discussions of significant issues and discussions, including potential conflicts of interest, academic independence, and their effects on the calibre of education and research, were provided by Mr Jain.

CT University Hosts Hostel Premier League Season 5

July 11, 2023: The tremendously successful Hostel Premier League Season 5 was a five-day festival packed with thrilling games and entertainment, organised by CT University's Department of Student Welfare. More than 400 students from more than 35 states in India, as well as students from Bangladesh, Nepal, and Africa, enthusiastically participated in the event. The fifth season of the Hostel Premier League brought together students from all backgrounds, establishing a strong sense of togetherness and camaraderie under the active direction of Rahil Roy (Project Officer) and committed student coordinators. The event offered kids a platform to display their athletic prowess and sense of teamwork through a variety of events, including volleyball, skipping rope, gully cricket, carom, balloon game, kabaddi, three-legged race, chess, and many more. The North Region triumphed and took home the prized trophy.

CT University Organises Expert Talk on Basic Life Support (BLS)

June 20, 2023:  In order to enlighten healthcare students about the vital skillset of BLS, the Department of Anaesthesia and Operation Theatre Technology, School of Healthcare and Paramedical Sciences at CT University, organised a very educational Expert Talk on BLS. There were almost 200 healthcare students present for the session. It offered a platform for students to gain the theoretical knowledge and practical skills required to effectively handle medical emergencies, assuring the greatest patient outcomes.
 
Students learned about the significance of quick action and the "chain of survival" in emergency situations during the expert talk. They received instruction in how to treat choking caused by foreign bodies in both adults and children, significantly strengthening their capacity for emergency response. The lesson covered a variety of crucial skills, such as identifying a cardiac arrest, prompt emergency response system activation, quick and assured reaction, and high-quality cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for patients of all ages. The use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), early use of CPR procedures, and delivery of appropriate ventilation were all taught to the students. Dr. Manender K Singla, Additional Director & HOD, Department of Cardiac Anaesthesia, Fortis Hospital, Ludhiana emphasized the importance of such initiatives in building a skilled healthcare workforce capable of responding effectively in emergency situations. June 14, 2023: 'Pharmacy and Healthcare Job Fair 2023' was put on by CT University in association with DBEE. The gathering of numerous students, prestigious businesses, and well-known professionals created an unrivalled platform of chances. CT University Organises a Free Health Check Up Camp

June 7, 2023: A free health check-up camp was organised by CT University. Numerous people took advantage of these crucial healthcare services as a result of the event's enormous reaction. Our committed team of medical professionals from Sankara Eye Hospital, Mohndai Oswal Hospital, and Genesis Institute of Dental Services and Research meticulously managed the camp, from dental screenings to eye exams and therapy sessions, ensuring that each participant received the best care possible. With a dedication to making healthcare available to everyone, regardless of financial limitations, the new clinical complex was launched with the goal of offering cheap treatment alternatives to the community. In order to ensure that people may access the care they require without experiencing undue financial hardship, the clinical complex will provide treatments and medical services at considerably reduced pricing.  Over 300 persons were successfully checked and given services by the medical camp, considerably improving their health.

CT University and AIESEC Organize World Talk Cafe to Foster Global Dialogue and Understanding

May 30, 2023: The World Talk Café was a noteworthy occasion that CT University and AIESEC Ludhiana organised. The World Talk Cafe brought together students, faculty, and notable visitors from many backgrounds to serve as a forum for open discourse and insightful conversations on global issues. In addition to broadening participants' knowledge, this programme promoted communication and understanding among university students. 

Students and distinguished visitors from Tunisia, Colombia, Sri Lanka, Romania, Algeria, Egypt, and Mexico participated in the World Talk Cafe. The diversified presence from different nations brought a fresh viewpoint to the discussions, fostering intercultural communication and the exchange of ideas. The event comprised engaging sessions and interactive discussions on pressing global issues such as climate change, social justice, sustainable development, and cultural diversity. Participants actively shared their insights, experiences, and innovative solutions to these challenges, making the World Talk Cafe a platform for constructive dialogue.

May 24, 2023: CT University and Crewsphere ICP India Hub have collaborated to establish the Crewsphere CT University chapter as part of CT University's commitment to getting a deeper grasp of technological breakthroughs. This platform is committed to encouraging students' participation in the web3 ecosystem and their blockchain development skills. Over 100 students and faculty members enthusiastically participated in Crewsphere CT University's first event. Bandhul Bansal, Head of the ICP India Hub, and Deepak Goyal, Mentor at the ICP India Hub, graced the event as keynote speakers. They imparted their priceless knowledge and wisdom. CT University Collaborates with Arjan Vir Foundation for Thalassemia Awareness and Promote Stem Cell Donation

May 15, 2023: CT University organised an informative talk on Thalassemia and Stem Cell Donation Registration in association with the Arjan Vir Foundation. The purpose of the seminar was to raise awareness of the vital role stem cell donations play in saving the lives of people with blood cancer. The presentation was given by Jasleen Garcha, the CEO of the Arjan Vir Foundation, who shared insightful information about thalassemia and the significance of stem cells. 

Recognising its societal obligation, CT University continuously supports worthwhile projects. Jasleen Garcha delivered in-depth knowledge regarding stem cell donations and thalassemia throughout the presentation, highlighting the demand for more participation in this potentially life-saving programme. She emphasised that "if an appropriate stem cell donor is discovered, patients with blood cancer can be spared. Unfortunately, the chances of finding a matching donor are extremely slim—one in a million, according to estimates. She added that despite India having a population of over 1.3 billion, there are only 500,000 stem cell donor registrations in the country. As a result, Indians must import stem cells from overseas, which can cost up to Rs 50 lakhs and is out of the price range of the average person. Potential donors were reassured by the lecture's explanation of the stem cell donation process.

CT University Students Shine in District-Level Weightlifting Competition: Clinch Gold and Silver Medals

May 8, 2023: Parampreet Singh won the gold medal in the 735 kg division, and Ekamjot Singh took home the prize in the 310 kg division. Parampreet Singh, Ekamjot Singh, and Iqbal Singh from CT University recently competed in the District Level Weightlifting Competition held in Ludhiana by the PI Federation. Our kids have done us proud by earning medals in their respective categories despite competing against some of the best talents in the area.

Gold medal winners in the 735 Kg and 310 Kg weight categories were Parampreet Singh and Ekamjot Singh, respectively. Iqbal Singh demonstrated great power and weightlifting prowess by winning the silver medal in the 435 kg division. The children received praise for their exceptional performance from Vice Chairman Harpreet Singh and Er. Davinder Singh, Deputy Director of the Department of Student Welfare. Dr Manbir Singh, the honourable pro-chancellor, congratulated the students on their outstanding accomplishments and stated, "I am thrilled to see our students flourish in the sport of weightlifting. They have made us proud and their devotion and hard work have paid off. At CT University, we work hard to provide a setting where our students can explore their interests and achieve their goals.

CT University Organises National Conference on Higher Education

- 350 Teachers and Principals attended the conference. More than 350 teachers and principals attended the National Conference on Higher Education, which CT University organised. As the event's chief guest, Dr Prem Kumar, Executive Director-Education of the L.Bhadhur Chand Munjal Foundation (Hero Group), who is renowned and highly regarded as a strategist and innovative leader in the conception, planning, and administration of commercial and educational institutions, attended. The keynote speaker—Dr. Navdeep Bhardwaj, President; Dr Monika Dua, Principal, B.C.M. College of Education, Ludhiana; and Dr Amandeep Kaur Bakshi, Head of School, Eastwood International School Mulanpur, Ludhiana—as well as the panellists—discussed the National Education Policy 2020 and significant reforms in schooling, which respectively bridge the gap between secondary education and higher education. 

The ceremony to light the lamps got the event started. The emphasis on many subjects, including research, innovation, and placements, was made by Dr Satish, Vice Chancellor (Off. ), Principal of the School of Law Dr Simran, Dr Harmeet Singh, Deputy Director of the IPR Cell, Dr Jimmy Singla, Head of the School of Engineering and Technology, and Director CRC Rajesh Kapoor. CT University Organises Simulation Workshop to Upgrade the Real-World Legal Experience of Law Students

May 8, 2023: A simulation workshop was organised for a week by CT University, Ludhiana's School of Law and IQAC. A useful and practical teaching technique for the modern law curriculum is simulation. Students can combine the 'classroom' experience with the real-world situations they will meet in their careers by using simulation as a kind of experiential and problem-based learning. By taking part in practice-based exercises, experts from the fields of civil law, criminal law, family law, labour laws, and drafting skills helped students build their legal expertise.

Leading the seminars and giving the students hands-on learning opportunities were Adv. Karan Singh (Vice President of the District Bar Association), Adv. Chamanlal Vashisht, a specialist in labour law, Adv. Deepinder Singh Gill, an expert in criminal law, and Adv. Sumit Khurana. They discussed their extensive experience working in the criminal, labour, civil, and family law fields. They also gave the students several examples of how to file an F.I.R., frame chargesheets, submit challans, file plaints, submit written statements, and submit interim petitions. Students learnt about the complexities of the criminal justice system and the different difficulties that arise in the workplace through his engaging presentation. They gave a thorough rundown of legal doctrines and practises. These workshops can be very helpful for law students since they give them real-world experience and practical legal understanding.

CT University Pays Tribute to Chaar Sahibzaad

December 29, 2022: Langar Sewa was held in remembrance of the martyrdom of four Sahibzadas, Baba Ajit Singh, Baba Jujhar Singh, Baba Zorawar Singh, and Baba Fateh Singh. The staff and students honoured the sacrifices made by the gurus and offered prayers on this day.

The Department of Student Welfare organised a special screening of the movie "CHAAR SAHIBZAADE," a tale of bravery and sacrifice, to honour and dedicate the occasion of the highest sacrifice. The screening was followed by singing by Kavishri and Vaar.

Pro-Chancellor Dr Manbir Singh; Vice-Chancellor Dr Satish (Off. ); Director of Brand Development and Marketing Sahil Kapoor; and, Dy. Director Department of Student Welfare Mr. Davinder Singh were present at this event.

CT University Organises Cancer Awareness Program in Association with International Human Rights Organisation

December 26, 2022: In partnership with the International Human Rights Organization, CT University developed a cancer awareness programme. The invited speaker, Indian actress and social activist Ms. Sonia Mann, emphasised that because cancer incidence is rising quickly in India, it is critical to increase public awareness of the disease.

"Awareness will lead to early detection, which is vital in the management and treatment of cancer, as well as prevention by making the required changes in lifestyle," stated Ms. Sonia Mann, an Indian actress and social activist. She also emphasised the connection between fertiliser use and cancer.

The Chancellor of Connecticut University, Charanjit Singh Channi, stated that "it is an endeavour to raise awareness and decrease the stigma of cancer via education." The guests were thanked by Dr. Satish Kumar, vice chancellor (OFF) of CTU.

School of Law, CT University Organises Moot Court Competition

December 21, 2022: The second Prof. (Dr.) Basant K. Sharma Memorial National Moot Court Competition was virtually organised by CT University's School of Law. 30 teams in total from around India took part in the competition. The tournament was held in honour of the late Prof. Dr. Basant K. Sharma, a bright and respected figure in the field of family law. The Moot Competition's proposal and theme were both based on criminal law issues.

Dr Kamaljeet Singh and Prof. Dr Tarun Arora welcomed the attendees and guests and discussed the relationship between Panjab University and the late Dr. Basant K. Sharma while highlighting his contributions to society and the legal profession. All of the teams and students were instructed by Major Nupur Gupta on the value of mooting for aspiring attorneys. She placed emphasis on giving law students a chance to demonstrate their professional competence and on how to maintain the legitimacy of black coats in culture and the legal system.

The two top teams out of the 30 teams competed in the Finale to wrap up the National Moot Competition. Ishikaa Sethi, Payas Virmani, and Toyesh Bhardwaj were on the team from Guru Gobind Singh IP University in Delhi, which received the winners' trophy. Amrutha Dev, Surya, and Donna Gadiel were on the team from School of Law Dr Ambedkar Law University in Tamil Nadu, which received the runners-up trophy. The finest monument was won by a team from Guru Gobind Singh IP University in Delhi.

"Moot court has always been a connection between law students and theoretically practical knowledge of facts and concerns under the blue of legal framework," stated Dr Satish Kumar, Vice Chancellor (Off.), CTU. The entire crew was praised by him.

CT University Launches CT Degree College (Collegiate)

December 07, 2022: In order to advance education, SAS Nagar, Mohali's CT University launched CT Degree College (Collegiate), which was approved by the Punjab School Education Board. The first private institution to launch a collegiate School is CT University. As the event's chief guest, S. Sukhwinder Singh Bindra introduced CT Degree College.

The former State Chairman (Punjab), S. Sukhwinder Singh Bindra, of the Punjab government's Department of Sports & Youth Services, praised the initiative and said, "Educational Institutions always reach the heights of the sky with the objective of raising the standard of education and student welfare. It is admirable that CT University is preparing students for multidisciplinary education and helping young people develop future-focused skills.

CT University’s School of Hotel Management, Airlines and Tourism Holds Cake Mixing Ceremony

December 05, 2022: The School of Hotel Management, Airlines and Tourism, CT University, organised a cake-mixing ceremony on its campus to honour the pre-Christmas festivities.

In order to spread joy with the aspiring chefs, the ceremony also included executive chefs who participated while wearing the traditional chef's hats and aprons.

Manbir Singh, provost of CT University, worked with colleagues to roll up their sleeves and get their hands dirty in the kitchen to create a wonderful Christmas cake.

A caldron was filled with an intriguing assortment of fruits and spices, including ground cardamom, cinnamon, and cloves, as well as raisins, glazed red cherries, orange peel, tutti frutti, black currants, dates, figs, dried apricots, figs, prunes, and nuts like walnuts, cashew, almond flakes, and pistachio. Numerous bottles of alcoholic beverages were added, including whisky, white and dark rum, vodka, wine, beer, and syrups including golden syrup, molasses, honey, and vanilla essence.

The students performed during this festival of pleasure because they were in a festive mood. The atmosphere and decor also had a Christmas motif.

After the customary cake-mixing ritual, the mixture was sealed in bags and allowed to age until it was combined with the cake batter and baked around Christmas.

Head of the School of Hotel Management, Airlines and Tourism at CTU, Chef Vikas, gave a briefing on the significance of the mixing ceremony and cakes during this holiday season as well as the steps involved in preparing such cakes.

CT University Celebrates ‘Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s 553rd Prakash Purab

November 16, 2022: At CT University Ludhiana, the 553rd Prakash Purab of Guru Nanak Dev Ji was observed. Religious education, in the opinion of CTU, imparts wisdom and preserves the moral foundation of society. On the occasion of the "Shri Akhand Path Sahib" celebration held at CT University, the administration, faculty, and students paid homage to the Almighty in order to ask for His blessings and to reiterate the values, principles, and teachings of Guru Nanak Dev ji.
University students gave respect to the Great Guru by reciting shabads. "Guru Nanak Dev ji enlightened the world with his teaching and taught everyone about 'Ik Onkar,' which implies that the God is one," stated Dr. Manbir Singh, provost of CT University. No matter what faith, caste, or creed you practise, only the all-powerful Lord can be credited with creating this marvellous universe and being everywhere.

Students from other nations studying together while respecting one another's religions, he continued, "spread the message of world brotherhood.”

Dr Satish Kumar, officiating Vice Chancellor, CTU emphasized on the Guru Nanak’s Teachings and encouraged students to follow the path of compassion, truth and peace. The program concluded with Ardas and Hukamnama. The congregation sought the blessings of the Guru and dispersed for Guru Ka Langar.

CT University Organises ‘NE Fresho’ for North-East Students

November 04, 2022: North East students enrolled in the 2022 session were given a warm welcome by CT University by hosting the "NE Fresho" Fresher's Welcome Party. Students from Assam, West Bengal, Sikkim, Nagaland, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, and Manipur made their presence known. Students in their first year took part in a variety of activities, including as modelling, singing, folk dancing, etc. The occasion was energetic and enjoyable. The students' faces made it obvious how enthusiastic they were.

Dr. Satish Kumar, vice chancellor of CT University, Dr. Pravin Kumar, professor and dean of the school of humanities and physical education, Sahil Kapoor, director of business development and marketing, Dr. Umesh, acting dean academics, and other leaders and faculty members attended the event.

The Vice Chancellor, Dr Satish Kumar, welcomed the new students and said that college is a pivotal time in students' lives. Students must make every effort to improve their skills. The only way to succeed is via hard work, which cannot be substituted. Students can achieve greater success by gaining knowledge and skills.

Margret Kamei and Matiksana Meitei respectively received the titles of Ms. and Mr. Fresher 2022.

Dr. Pravin Kumar, professor and dean of the CTU School of Humanities and Physical Education, was the day's chief guest. CT University Marks ‘National Unity Day’

November 04, 2022: On the occasion of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's 147th birthday, CT University honours the Iron Man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, who helped unite modern India. Additionally, National Unity Day is observed on this day.

Around 2,000 students participated in the "Run for Unity," which was kicked off by Dr. Satish Kumar, vice chancellor of CT University.

Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, known as the "Iron Man of India," was instrumental in convincing numerous princely states to join the Union of India, according to Dr. Satish Kumar, Vice Chancellor of CT University, who spoke at the ceremony. In addition, he asked the students to struggle for the nation's integrity and togetherness in the manner of Sardar Patel.

"Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's iron will woven our nation into a union and continues to inspire us to resist the forces of hate & division," stated Dr. Parvin Kumar, Professor and Dean of the School of Humanities and Physical Education at CTU.

The "Unity Run" was participated in by Sarabpreet Singh, CTU's registrar, as well as all of the deans, heads of schools, faculty, and students.

CT University Develops In-house '3D Printer'

October 27, 2022: The Research and Innovation Center for Excellence (RICE) at CT University created an internal 3D printer with the goal of having one in every home in the near future. The team of academics and students combined several technologies to create a refined design for a 3D printer that can provide high-quality, composite-ready performance in an effectively small size.

"We have been working on this developing technology from day one, and we wanted to offer our own in-house constructed equipment, which our team made from scratch," said Dr Inderjit Singh, the director of RICE Lab. Students have the chance to develop their ideas and then 3D print them in our rapid prototyping lab to hold them in their hands in a matter of hours.  

Additionally, the machine has a modular layout, a heated bed and chamber, a precision of 100 microns, and is equipped with numerous Industry 4.0 IoT capabilities. For students in various fields, the Research and Innovation Center for Excellence and Rapid Prototyping Lab offers a cutting-edge makerspace equipped with CNC machines, additive manufacturing equipment, and top-notch hand tools. The group displayed intricately crafted models and components that were produced using 3D printers.

Provost of CTU Dr Manbir Singh complimented the team and added that 3D printing "opens up a whole new universe of possibilities and brings fantasies of the future to life that were initially thought to be unachievable."

Vice Chancellor of CTU Dr Satish Kumar stated, "We always encourage our students to innovate and make their dreams come true via the beauty of 3d Printing and the power of CAD." He praised the group.

CT University's School of Healthcare and Paramedical Sciences Celebrates ‘World Anaesthesia Day’

October 27, 2022: The CT University School of Healthcare and Paramedical Sciences observed "World Anaesthesia Day" to commemorate the 176th anniversary of the discovery of anaesthesia, which allowed patients to undergo surgery without experiencing any pain.

Students from CT University's School of Healthcare and Paramedical Sciences' Anaesthesia and Operation Theatre Technology participated in a variety of contests, including a scientific quiz, poster competition, model competition, and rangoli competition.

Speaking on the subject of "Patient Safety in Operating Room," Dr Manendra K. Singla, Additional Director and HOD, Department of Cardiac Anaesthesia, Fortis Hospital, Ludhiana, graced the event as the guest of honour. He placed emphasis on the best method for error reduction (safety), which should include a team approach, a workplace that is fair and non-threatening, and standardised approaches like "Time out."

Jaskeeratan Kaur, assistant professor in the anaesthesia and operation theatre department, gave a heartfelt vote of gratitude to conclude the meeting. CT University Students Complete Certification In Tally ERP 9

May 11, 2022: CT University has announced that 50 final-year BCom (Hons.) and BBA students have finished the third level of Tally ERP 9 (GST) certification course. Tally certification was coordinated by Sharu Kaushal, Assistant Professor.

Tally is an industry-focused training programme that aims to adequately equip learners for a successful career in business. Fresh postgraduates and graduates are moulded to think analytically and have job profiles that match the organization's expectations.

CT University offers supplementary certification programmes to provide students with hands-on experience in addition to their regular degree programmes, allowing them to become more proficient and employable.

The main goal of the tally certification course is to improve practical accounting concepts using ERPs and how to apply them in industries to better comprehend and utilise job-related features.

CTU Chancellor Charanjit Singh Channi and Vice-Chancellor Dr Harsh Sadawarti commended students for attaining Tally certifications, saying that Tally will help them advance in their careers by improving their knowledge of computerised accounting, inventory management, payroll, and taxation.

CT University Inks MoU with TATA Motors

March 13, 2020: Ludhiana-based CT University (CTU) University recently signed memorandum of understanding (MoU) with TATA Motors. The Innovation Alliance is collaborating together to research on the development of new advanced technology systems for engine and vehicle components in TATA Prolife Plant, Lucknow. The first collaboration with TATA Motors has also been negotiated by the CT University under this MoU. The project aims at automating the SIM testing procedure to digitally record various test parameters. This automatic SIM testing system saves 80 per cent of the operator's time and offers accurate test data to help TATA Motors boost engine efficiency.

University Organises HR Conclave 2020

January 20, 2020: CT University organised HR Conclave 2020 in association with CertifID, Wills Solutions and Coca Cola to discuss cutting-edge and relevant ideas. The University invited prominent speakers from various sectors to make the discussion more fruitful. The chief guest of the event was Dr Ankita Singh who is Vice President & Global Head, HR Admin, Travel & IT Cignex Datamatics. The guest of honour was Advocate Vikrant Rana, Director Legal Cell Punjab International Human Rights and CRM Consultant, Sonalika Tractors. The event was witnessed by over 50 experts across the globe.

The theme of the event was ‘Benefits of upskilling and the new talent pipeline’ in industry 4.0 and its impact on HR Function. There were also discussion around Importance of HR in bridging the gap between GenX  and Gen Y, Can HR be replaced by AI?, Digital disruption of on-campus recruitment,  Happiness factor in organisational sustainability and Crafting the HR Tech Roadmap.

Placements: Around 80% students were placed in the course. The highest package that was offered was nearly about 20 lakh per year and the lowest was 5 lakh per year. Top recruiting companies were Hoping Minds, Google, Infosys, and Techno. Nearly about 80% of students get an internship at Google, IBM, and some other tech companies. Mainly the roles offered to the students were web developer, software engineer, data analyst, cyber security, head, etc.

Overall the college is too good.

Placements: 80 percent of students are interested in B.Tech CSE, most popular course for engineering. The highest package for this course is 30 LPA, and the lowest package for this course is 5 LPA. Seventy percent of the students got placement this year in IT companies.
