Q:   How successful is the placement cell in securing jobs for B.E. / B.Tech students at DYPIU?

A:
{Source: B.E. / B.Tech students & alumni}

Success Rate of Placement Cell for B.E./B.Tech Students

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's what emerges regarding the success rate of the placement cell for B.E./B.Tech students:

* Placement numbers: While the exact figures are not mentioned, it seems that the placement cell does secure jobs for B.E./B.Tech students, although the number may not be very high. One student mentions that "only 20-30% of students got internships" in certain companies.

* Company visits: It appears that companies rarely visit the college campus to recruit students from the final year. This might impact the placement numbers.

Absolutely satisfied with the campus life, placements and management team.
Placements: According to my college stats and what I got to know from my seniors, placement is very decent in our college. Most of the students get placed on campus. If you will work hard here, you will definitely get placed here on our campus, that's it.
Infrastructure: College Wi-Fi, labs, classroom, library, cafeteria, open stage, auditorium, ground. Our college has a hostel under construction, which will be ready by the end of 2025. Until now, there are so many good PG and flat rental options available near the college.
Faculty: All the teachers are very helpful, well-trained, and well-qualified, and the teaching quality is excellent. Our course curriculum is designed as per the industry needs. Semester exams are not so hard nor easy in our college. If you are ready to learn, you will score fantastically.
Other: The best thing about my college is that my college has a friendly curriculum that inspires students to work harder.

My point of view towards my college.
Placements: Students above 90 are enrolled in DYPIU, and the highest package is up to 25 lakhs per annum. The entire college gets good placements, and also the proper internships from which they study and learn many things. They also help guide the students on the correct path.
Infrastructure: Hostel provided to students with access to their rooms and facilities for their own safety and security during their stay in the hostel. Good hygiene is maintained during their time of food. Food is safe for them to eat and drink. Also, a Wi-Fi system is provided .
Faculty: The faculty of the university is good for the students. The students who are interested in having more knowledge about the subject, the faculty helps them out and makes the students confident towards their studies. Extra-curricular activities help students achieve a good CGPA.

Overall good for the students focused in area of this course.
Placements: The placement is totally on the basis of a number of companies which come to our college and students are chosen on a merit basis. Some students apply individually to companies. Some companies recruiting our courses like Cipla, Biocon, Siemens, etc., require bioengineers. Food industries if you choose food tech. Internships we have to apply on our own to whichever place we like to experience; otherwise, the college also provides internships on the campus itself. Top roles like research scientist, specialized professor, and bioengineer in companies, hospitals, and healthcare sectors as bioengineers, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is actually pretty nice with a good campus area. With fully air-conditioned classrooms with Wi-Fi. Fully equipped laboratories with all required instruments and machines. Also have a library with required recent books, journals. A new hostel facility is also provided for students with all required amenities.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are cooperative and helpful towards understanding and practical knowledge gaining of students. They are qualified and carry related degrees for the subject. The course curriculum is advanced based on more practical hours focusing on practical understanding with classes focusing on theoretical knowledge also. The difficulty level is according to the subject credit and difficulty levels. The scores are also calculated by relative marking.
Other: I have an interest in biology-related subjects and have deep knowledge about them with practical applications, so I chose this course. If you are more inclined towards gaining research knowledge along with technology while performing it, you can opt for this. Events are organized every year like fests with sports, dance, etc. As it is near Pune City, the connectivity is good with companies as it has an IT park. Along with studies, we can focus on extracurriculars also.

I recommend this college because overall infrastructure is good, curriculum is better, free of time
Placements: Companies like Tech Mahindra, Uber, and Amazon have come to the college as per their brochure. The placements totally depend on your projects. Depending on that, companies will hire you. So, work on projects. Even according to the college syllabus, they offer internships as well.
Infrastructure: I am not a hosteler, but my hostel friends told me that the food is okay. Not too good, not too bad. You can find a lot of restaurants near the college and hostel area. Since this is a main city, you can find a lot of hostels, hospitals, and everything you want.
Faculty: Some teachers are new. A few of them teach very well. I understand their concepts and what they are teaching. But a few teachers, I don’t know what they are teaching. They don’t teach well, and I personally do not understand. They will already share the syllabus, so if you start early, it’s better for you.

Love the club activities.
Placements: 8-30 LPA offered usually. We also get internships in research. Almost maximum crowd from various batches got enrolled for summer and winter internships. Biomedical engineering and cell and tissue science are the top subjects of our college, which are great.
Infrastructure: We have five laboratories for bioengineering students and all of them are well-equipped. The aesthetics and equipment of our laboratories are pretty advanced. Our campus has multiple canteens and my building has its own canteen with adequate accommodation.
Faculty: Professors and TAs are highly qualified and experienced. They are very supportive and helpful in solving all our queries and guiding us. Our course does make all the students industry-ready. Semester exams are not very difficult or too easy either.
Other: Attendance is very necessary.

DYPIU has excellent infrastructure, supportive staff, practical CSE learning, and strong placements.
Placements: At D. Y. Patil International University in Pune, as per my knowledge, at least 60–70% of students get placements from the college. From the CSE course, 250+ students get placements. The highest and average packages students received from DYPIU are INR 27 LPA and 4-5 LPA, respectively. The top recruiters at D. Y. Patil International University are Infosys, Wipro, Neeyamo Enterprises, etc.
Infrastructure: At D. Y. Patil International University, the facilities and infrastructure are excellent. You will experience a great environment and supportive staff. The classrooms are spacious and equipped with modern technology like projectors and TVs. The library is awesome for readers, providing a silent environment. The labs are equipped with the latest technology. DYPIU has 4 or 5 canteens that offer good-quality food.
Faculty: The teachers and staff members are good. They help students increase their knowledge and clear doubts both in the classroom and during breaks. In the CSE course, students get ready for the industry through the presentation of numerous projects and practical work. The college semester exams are fair, and you can easily pass if you study well.
Other: Personally, my motive for choosing the course is that I like programming, so in the CSE course, I gain more knowledge about programming languages compared to other courses. The best thing about this course is that you get a lot of practical knowledge, presentation skills, and improvements in communication skills. The events are excellent; they not only include dance, song, drama, and music but also sports activities. The campus crowd is huge, and the surroundings are beautiful, which is beneficial for your mental health.
