DAVV Indore Common Admission Process
Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV) Indore has announced that the MBA admission for the academic year 2020-22 will take place through Common Admission Process (CAP). This process will be conducted in lieu of DAVV CET, which has been cancelled this year owing to the COVID-19 pandemic. The application process for the CAP is underway and the last date to submit the application form is September 13.

DAVV Indore Eligibility Criteria
According to the DAVV Indore, the eligibility criteria for the groups are different. However, the criteria for groups B and C are same. Let us take a look at the eligibility criteria in detail.
Group A
Candidates should be graduates in any discipline from a recognised university or institute with minimum 50 per cent aggregate. The minimum aggregate for the reserved category candidates in 45 per cent.
Group B & Group C
Candidates should pass Class 12 in any stream with minimum 50 per cent aggregate. The minimum aggregate for the reserved category candidates in 45 per cent.
DAVV CAP Application Procedure
The application process for the DAVV CAP is completely online. The step to follow during the process are given below.

Candidates have to visit the link davv.mponline.gov.in

Select the Group and check on the Agreement Declaration box

Click on the tab ‘Continue to CAP Form’

Fill in the mandatory details with personal, academic, communication and other details

Upload photo and signature in the given resolution. The file should be in JPG or JPEG format and file size should not exceed 200 KB.

Enter the captcha

Click on the ‘Declaration’ check-box and click on the ‘Submit’ tab
Online application fee for CAP 2020 is Rs 1,550. Candidate can pay the fee online through Credit/Debit Card or Net Banking or UPI. They will receive the confirmation through email and SMS.
Final Selection Process
The merit list will be prepared based on the scores of the qualifying exams. The group-wise merit list preparation process is stated below.
Group A
Merit will be prepared on the basis of percentage of marks obtained in 10th, 12th board and graduation; 15 per cent proportion will be allocated to Class 10 board percentage, 20 per cent proportion will be allocated to Class 12 board percentage, and 65 per cent proportion will be allocated to graduation percentage.
Group B and C
Merit will be prepared on the basis of percentage of marks obtained in Class 10 and Class12 board exams. 35 per cent proportion will be allocated to Class 10 board percentage and 65 per cent proportion will be allocated to 12th board percentage.
Final Admission Process
After the declaration of the merit list, selected candidates will have to appear for the counselling rounds which includes document verification process.
Candidates will be called for counselling in their order of merit in different categories. The admission of a candidate to a particular programme will be decided on the basis of CAP 2020 merit and as per the reservation policy by the Admission Committee at the time of counselling.
In case of a tie at the same rank, admission will be given as per the following methods:
a) A higher percentage of marks in the qualifying examinations will be considered.
b) If the percentage of marks in the qualifying examination is also a tie, seniority in age will be considered.
