My Opinion and Overview of Dr. D.Y. Patil School of Design.
Placements: 80% of the students studying in our course have been placed. The lowest package was 4.5 LPA and the highest was 12 LPA. A few of the top recruiting companies for the course are Van Heusen and Vero Moda. About 80% of the students were given internships in companies such as Ivoomi. Product Designer, UI UX Designer, however, there aren't many limitations for Product Design as it is a very flexible degree.
Infrastructure: The college provides facilities such as Smart Classrooms, Wi-Fi, 3D Printing Lab, Computer Labs, Library, Garment-making and Stitching Lab, Photo-shooting Labs, and a huge lobby which is fun to relax in. I do not live in the College Hostel, but from experience and conversations with my peers, I can confidently say the College Hostel is a nice place, with a Canteen.
Faculty: The teachers for my course are extremely knowledgeable and definitely qualified for teaching the topics in the course. The faculty comes from various fields which allow us to get information from different fields easily. The course curriculum is relevant to the course, making sure we learn whatever is necessary in our fields, allowing us to be more than well-prepared for the industry. The semester exams are a mix of theory and practical exams which are easy but can be challenging for people who aren't prepared.
Other: I chose the Product Design course as I was interested in the flexibility of the degree, as well as my personal interest in the field of design. The best things about the course are probably the amount of hands-on experience and knowledge you get from the faculty as they are pioneers in their field. I'd just like longer holidays. There are cultural as well as design events in the college. The college is beside the Mumbai-Bengaluru Expressway, allowing for efficient connectivity to both cities. The college provides a scholarship as well!

Placements: We get internships from the 2nd year. 80% of students get internships and placements. Packages start from 6 LPA to 10 LPA as a fresher. We receive training from the Placement Department, including communication skills, personality development, and resume building.
Infrastructure: We have various labs, such as garment construction and pattern-making labs, to upgrade our creativity. We also have CAD labs, an amphitheater, and auditoriums. Hostel facilities are quite up to the mark and worth the money. A lively atmosphere is seen, with a city-life montage.
Faculty: The faculty is very humble, helpful, and qualified in their respective fields. The curriculum is designed to help students gain knowledge from the beginning and reach greater heights. It is tailored to an industry perspective. The difficulty level of exams ranges from easy to moderate, yet they are very precise.
Other: I'm pursuing a B.Des in Fashion Design. I have a passion for this field because it helps me concentrate on the skills, qualities, traits, and acumen needed to be a successful designer from the start. We usually have a Design Summit and other cultural activities.

A college with good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Students have to score 45% to join this college. Many courses are offered by the college other than animation. It provides good placements. The role offered in our course is an animator and the job is fixed by the college.
Infrastructure: The campus surroundings are good. Classrooms are clean and nice to study. The hostel is good. Our college provides Wi-Fi but only for laptops. We cannot connect to our phones. Our college provides indoor and outdoor games to develop students.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful for the whole academic year. Our seniors help students in their studies which is very helpful. Students are good. Our class teachers are good and helpful. The course is good.
Other: Our college conducts movie nights. It does not provide scholarships. Surroundings are beautiful in the world.

Placements: They provide 100% placement assistance and 7 months internships. The batch I'm studying in is Bachelors in design in visual communication 2024-28. the roles offered for internships are like graphic designing, UI/UX designer, cinematographer, etc. The recruiting companies coming in Dr D. Y. Patil school of design are Aditya Biral group, Brintons Pvt ltd, Redchillies, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure, course and hostel everything is immaculate here at Dr. D. Y. Patil school of design. Our course is designed by keeping in mind of how students will battle real life problem solving issues related to this field. Every class and subject has equal important and specific assignments to battle each concept and problem that would help in our future. The hostel is also very neat and clean and most importantly very safe. No chances of mishap and the warden and teachers are there 24/7 if anything happens.
Faculty: Our faculty is very available and helpful whenever we have any minor convenience. The curriculum is designed well keeping every type of student in mind and the teachers talk to every student individual if they have any issue. Exams are also conducted in a very disciplined and well mannered way.
Other: I chose this course as I was very passionate about designing and when I saw the curriculum in Dr. D. Y. Patil school of design that straight away gained my interest and I enrolled in this course. They use more practical knowledge, skills, assignments and exams that helps us understand problem solving better. Many events and extracurricular activities like ADI events, design summit, garba nights, etc. Are conducted which help keep a balance of fun and studies both. Overall the surrounding is really good for the development of a student.

Placements: The students are getting higher packages of internships/Placement from this university where the starting amount is 6 Lacs. It depends upon the students that from which course they are belonging. This was for fashion design. Apart from this students get the training for communication skills, personality development and resume building.
Infrastructure: The hostel facilities is really good, food is also provided in the mess, canteen and the quality is really good. Cleaning is done everyday in the hostel rooms. The infrastructure of the university is great with all the new interior design in it. The classrooms are quiet spacious based on the particular department, computer labs are also there with wi-fi attached to it.
Faculty: The faculty in this university are very polite and quiet helpful to the students. They are qualified and having degrees regarding to the course which they are teaching to the students. Semester exams are not that difficult to attempt. The passing percentage are above 85%. .
Other: Im from B.Des fashion design. The reason why I selected this course because I want to gain more knowledge in fashion industry and this university will quiet help me out in this. The best thing about this course is that you can improve your skills and increase your knowledge while communication with the experienced faculty members. Every year there is a fashion week in the campus, where students show their creative design and represents to the college. The campus of the college is quite lively. Students can get scholarships according to their fits to their particular course.
