B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2028

Excellent faculty, good placements, and great infrastructure.
Placements: I am pursuing B.Tech 1st year CSE core. Around 80% to 85% of seniors in this course have been placed. Packages range from 8 LPA to 50 LPA. An average student can get up to 10–15 LPA in on-campus placement drives, and big companies like Google and Microsoft come to our college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite well-developed, and it is a peaceful place. Dehradun is quite peaceful, and there are many places to visit nearby. The campus includes hostels, a canteen, a mess, a tuck shop, and a stationery shop. Medical facilities are available all the time.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-educated from renowned colleges and institutions. They are well-qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable in their fields. The course and curriculum are relevant to modern-day needs and make us industry-ready. The semester exams are not that tough if you attend class regularly.
Other: The best thing about my course is that it makes students industry-ready for jobs and the real world. The university organizes Grafest twice a year and invites famous personalities to perform.

Impressive placements, supportive faculty, and modern infrastructure.
Placements: Almost 30-35% of students were placed in 2023 at Graphic Era University. The highest package offered is 84.88 LPA, and the average package is 11.79 LPA. Every year, many students get placements in companies like Adobe, Reliance, Wipro, Microsoft, Amazon, and many more.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the university is excellent. They have almost 5-6 libraries, 5 canteens, and water dispensers. Classrooms are well-managed and have digital boards, projectors, Wi-Fi, and good seating. Being honest, I'm not a hostel person, so I don't have experience with the hostel, but some of my friends are there. They told me the quality of food is awesome, with many varieties, and the rooms are neat and clean when given to you.
Faculty: The teachers at Graphic Era University are well-educated and have good knowledge to teach students. Teachers mostly teach with practical examples, and with digitalized boards, they make learning easy. Semester exams are not so difficult, but you have to study at least one week before the exam. The passing percentage is 40%.
Other: I chose this course because it aligns with my thinking and passion. The curriculum provides me a perfect balance between theoretical knowledge and practical knowledge. Events are superb at the university. You can also search on Google about Graphic Era fests, and the most well-known event in the university is GRAFEST.

Placements are not satisfying. Faculties are great. Infrastructure is not that good.
Placements: Placements are not very good because of the recession, as said nowadays by every college but better than other colleges that are nearby. We can not say it is the best college for placements but it is better than many government colleges, which nowadays have failed to give placements to their students.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not very good, to be honest, because college is not huge; it has a very small campus. The hostels are not entirely inside the campus; some are outside the campus and only 2 hostels, one boy and one girl, are inside the campus. The playground is not even big.
Faculty: Faculties are great and some are even on the list of the top 30 faculties in India. Even in the projects we make during the 3rd semester, they put all their efforts so that they can help us to build something innovative. Our exams are conducted two times per semester: one is midterm and the second is end semester.
Other: Decent college to give placements but not very good because it is a private college. You will not get a very competitive environment but if you want to do something out of the box, the college will help you with funds and will be flexible towards the attendance criteria.

Comprehensive overview of Graphic Era Deemed University.
Placements: Around 90% of B.Tech students are placed. The highest salary package offered for top B.Tech students can go up to 84.88 LPA. The average salary package offered for a B.Tech course ranges from 6-8 LPA, depending on the course. Major recruiters are Amazon, Infosys, Google, Microsoft, and Tech Mahindra.
Infrastructure: College provides free Wi-Fi with fast internet available across the campus. Labs are fully equipped for practical learning. Library is well-stocked with both general books and e-resources. Food served in the mess is hygienic and nutritious.
Faculty: Teachers are experienced, qualified, and helpful to students. They use interactive teaching methods, making learning easier and engaging. Curriculum is regularly updated to meet industry standards. Practical training and projects are included to prepare students for real-world jobs. Semester exams are moderately difficult, requiring consistent effort and study.
Other: College offers facilities for both indoor and outdoor sports like basketball, cricket, football, badminton, and table tennis. Satisfied with the value for money.
Placements: Most of the students got placements. The highest placement for BCA was 55 Lacs per annum, and the average package is 5.8 Lacs per annum. Top recruiting companies are Google, Amazon, Flipkart, etc. Most of the students got internships in good companies.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available, but there are ACs in only a few rooms. The labs' infrastructure is good. Classrooms are okay. Medical facilities are also available within the campus. Both sports and e-sports are given importance. The quality of hostels is good, but the food is not much good. The canteen food is nice.
Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified, very helpful, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good. The course curriculum is relevant and also makes students industry-ready. The semester exams are not much difficult and also not much easy; the difficulty level is average. The pass percentage is approximately 85%.
Other: I chose the course at this college because its review was good. The best thing is that there is not much pressure on students regarding classes because the timing of classes is very good. The things that need improvement are the number of assignments, which I think should be less. The events are excellent, and big stars like Divine and Badshah also come to the events. The backside of the campus is surrounded by a jungle, which feels pretty good. The college provides scholarships based on the 12th class percentage.

Stay away from GEU specially for technical courses.
Placements: I think not more than 30–40% of the students got placed from the college on campus as the recruiters this year were very few, and the hype they make is like too much, from influencers to local marketing. They do everything, including the highest package, which is official given the college's 56 LPA but they must be the off-campus ones that were made to be shown that are on campus so this is not a good thing for such a professional college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the main campus is like okay but for such heavy feelings, it is not justified. The library is not that big for thousands of students and is not air-conditioned. The Wi-Fi facilities are also not good because the maximum limit is about 2 GB, which is way too little, and the hostel's food is so poor that you cannot even chew the chapatis.
Faculty: Teachers are good they are all well educated and cooperative too. The curriculum is also good as it is majorly fixed by the UGC for all the colleges and the exam pattern is also very easy We would say it is specially designed so that most of the students may get through it so yeah, that is a better thing.
Other: Crowd here is a way to introvert; they all like their own personal space here; no interaction is all they want because in our batch there are most of the droppers who failed the JEE examination so they are a bit too sad and depressed so yes, the crowd is not that happening considering only my batch of other year students are more happening.
