B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication - Batch of 2027

JECRC is the best for events.
Placements: This course provides good capability for students to score and have possible outcomes for many new things, including self-settled work or working with already settled companies. Many of our seniors were replaced in MNCs with a package of 10 LPA; internships start from the second year, but practical knowledge is started in the 1st year, thus internships become easy for one and have more scope of getting good jobs.
Infrastructure: Our college has beautiful and airy rooms with comfortable seats. For food, students are not just dependent on the canteen but also have Jumbos, the Bunch House, and NBC on campus itself. Libraries are there in college that have a great amount of books and maintain discipline.
Faculty: Teachers are supportive, qualified, and experienced in the fields they teach to us. Teachers provide us not only with bookish knowledge but also with actual and practical knowledge; they train us to have a very realistic approach towards the world, and they guide us in the best way possible for us. As they have seen us growing and nurturing here, not only just study-related things, but they do support us to be mentally strong.
Other: Journalism is the widest scope of subjects. It's not only about being bookworms; it's all about getting to know the world in the closest spectrum. Journalism gives me ways and different streams to explore within. It gives the real touch of life, exploring the world and your own self at the utmost level.

Jaipur School of Business, JECRC University.
Placements: The placement ratio is not good, as only a few students with high skills and knowledge are placed. However, these placements are not through campus recruitment; they have to find them on their own. The maximum package is just 7 to 8 LPA.
Infrastructure: Overall, the infrastructure is good and developed with every facility like computer labs, libraries, engineering labs, and many more, but the issue is they are not properly maintained, and the campus is big enough so we can roam around and have good sports infrastructure.
Faculty: The faculty members are excellent in teaching, as most of them hold Ph.D.s in their respective fields. They have a significant amount of experience and are very cooperative. They provide practical knowledge with real-world examples and organize industry visits.

Placements were good before, but now the number of students far exceeds the companies' intake.
Placements: The job placements were fewer this year, and even students with a CGPA of 8+ did not receive any offers. The highest package offered was 52 LPA, and only one student was selected for it. The average package offered was between 6-7 LPA, and the lowest package offered was 3 LPA. Some of the top companies that participated in the placement drive were Amazon, TCS, Accenture, Capgemini, Microsoft, and Flipkart.
Infrastructure: The WiFi never works, although the classroom and library are okay. Living in the hostel is tough. The food is terrible and unhygienic. The problems in the hostel are never solved, and there is never any cleaning done on time. No one listens or solves the problems. The gaming is okay, but juniors never get a chance to play as the seniors do.
Faculty: Some of the faculty are highly knowledgeable, whereas others have little to no knowledge. The course is good and prepares students for the future. The passing percentage in the recent semester exam was quite low, with more than half of the students failing and no one scoring full marks.
Other: This year's admissions were exceptionally high, resulting in a challenging environment that may compromise safety.

Good college in terms of social life and average college in terms of placement and overall opportuni
Placements: Placement percentage this year is around 95%, with most students getting placed. Companies that visited include Wipro and some Jaipur-based companies. Microsoft visited in the previous year but not this year. The highest salary package offered is 56 LPA, and the average salary package offered ranges from 6 LPA-7 LPA. Internships are good according to my seniors. I don’t have proper knowledge about this because I am in my second year. But, seniors say that most internships are paid, but students need to be active in classes and have proper knowledge about the field to apply.
Infrastructure: Hostels are good but a little overpriced, according to me. Air conditioner rooms are expensive, while non-air conditioner rooms are good and budget-friendly. With air conditioner, the price is Rs. 1.75 lakh, and without air conditioner, the price is Rs. 1.10 lakh. Mess price is included in both options. Mess quality is good and provides meals four times a day. Affordability in hostels is questionable as rooms get filled very quickly, and only early applicants get them. The locality is good, and PGs are easily available nearby.
Faculty: Faculty and student relations are good in the university. My mathematics teacher is very nice and has excellent teaching skills. Our OS teacher are also very humble and have deep knowledge of their subjects. In short, teachers have good knowledge of their subjects. Exam pattern includes three in-semester examinations, out of which students must appear for two. The 3rd in-semester exam is mostly for medical emergencies. At the end, there is the mid-term and the final paper. Exam levels are manageable. In-semester exams are often easy, while mid-semester exams are medium. If students study well in class, they can easily score good marks.
Other: I chose this course because of the future opportunities in cloud computing. My course is in hybrid mode, which means half of my specialization classes are offline, and half are online. However, I am not in favor of online classes. There are mainly two major tech fests. The first is Rhythm, which is held in February and is one of the best fests in Rajasthan. One will love this fest. The second fest is Invo8, which mostly happens in September. This fest includes more technical tournaments like sports, root fights, etc. Clubs at JECRC are good. My personal favorite is Zarurat, which focuses on social welfare work. We can learn many things from this club. One can also join photography, sports, drama clubs, and more. I am paying Rs. 2 lakh per year as tuition fees (Rs. 20,000 off because of a scholarship). The current fee for the same course is now Rs. 2.40 lakh (Rs. 20,000 more than the previous year). JECRC University provides scholarships based on 12th-class percentages. For 75% - 85%, students get 15% off, which is around Rs. 20,000. For more than 85%, students get 20% off, which is around Rs. 28,000, though I am not completely sure.

College has good placement opportunities, infrastructure, and a good faculty too.
Placements: At JECRC University, around 90% of students get placed every year. The placement cell is really strong. Recruiting companies like JP Morgan, Amazon, and many others recruit students based on their performance. The average salary package offered is about 7.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: Our college has its own private Wi-Fi. Each floor has its own Wi-Fi too. There are lots of labs for practical and better understanding of students. Canteen is clean and good. College doesn't have sports facilities, but they organize games in good ways.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable in our college. They help us to get through the semester exams. They are also friendly and helpful. The courses follow the Mumbai University pattern and are all related to getting job placements.
Other: I chose this college because my friends are also enrolled here.

I suggest to get admission in this college .
Placements: Last year in my college, around 50% of students were placed. As I know the highest package offered was around 20 LPA. the lowest package offered was around 3 LPA and the average package offered was 6 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Tch Mahendra, Amazon, etc.
Infrastructure: As I am a hosteler, the infrastructure of my hostel is decent and the hostel rooms are also in decent condition. They have a good connection of Wi-Fi. The mess food is too good. we have time in a day for food. Sports Club are also there one who wants to play one can and be part of club.
Faculty: In my college, my faculty are very supportive and they clear all doubt. I think not much curriculum is related to my course. The semester examinations are of good level. They are not tough but you have to study hard and understand it well. To only pass you have to make 40%.
