Placements: The college has no placements cell. They are only providing degree skills exposure. Some local companies come to offer placements worth 12k and 15k to a Computer Science graduate. The job role would be of a salesmen or supervisor, or they will force you to sell insurance. So at the end of the course, there is no proper placements season. If you want to get placed, learn skills and go for off-campus placements.
Placements: Lateral entry students are not placed every year because there is racism between regular and lateral students so you have to take your decision and come here. Later enter student doesn't get a chance in placement even if he topped in the examinations.
Placements: The number of students who do not get placed at the end of the session is exorbitantly high. Amongst unplaced students are generally very meritorious students as either they don't participate in the process as it seeks labour in the name of engineers, or they are busy preparing for other examinations suiting their ambition as college rarely matches the expectations of hardworking students. If you are a meritorious student seeking great placement in engineering, then you are a misfit to the place...
Placements: Placements for the senior batch and my batch were fine. A few eligible students were not placed. The highest was some 12 lacs (offered by DVC) and the lowest was 3.2 lacs (TCS). Many small companies approached the college. Roles offered were engineer profiles.
Placements: Around 10% of the students were placed, even less. The highest package was around 3.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies were TCS and Gillette. Around 60% of us did apply for an internship in SAIL and TATA but all efforts were solely ours. The college did not pay attention towards this.
Placements: 1. No one placed in my course. 2. No salary offered to any student in my course 3. Not any company came for recruitment for my course. 4. No roles offered in my course. 5. My college is a business place with no placements guarantee. 6. I didn't do any internship in my course.
Placements: There is a training and placement cell dedicated in this college to help students get placed, but the training cell doesn't do much apart from shortlisting and categorising the students for companies. Aptitude training is not provided here, and most of the companies invited belong either to software sector or if they belong to the core sector the seats are quite low. Companies like TCS, IBM, Vedanta, JSW, etc., visit here for placements. Placements have shown a marginal increase from the previou...
Placements: Our college provides average placements, but now the situation is getting better. Our college is the best in the country, but because of the negligence of the state government, the status of this college is degraded. But now the college has got some funds to develop its infrastructure.
