If someone decides to join the college, they have to understand that ALGAC is a government college.
Placements: 100% of students get placed, with an average package of ₹50K. As it is a medical college, every student undergoes the internship process. After finishing the course, one can set up their own clinic, become an Ayurvedic Medical Officer, become a professor, pursue research, or get into PG.
Infrastructure: Hostel and library facilities are available, and as our college has its own teaching hospital, medical facilities are also available. We do have a ground where we can play games. Labs for physiology and anatomy, among others, are present in the college itself, and there is Wi-Fi available as well.
Faculty: Teachers are very well qualified, and the course curriculum is relevant. Whether it makes students industry-ready or not depends on the student themselves, as in the medical field, we have to work on our own much more than the professors helping us. Rarely will they be able to cover the complete syllabus in the teaching part.
Other: I wanted to become a doctor, so I chose this course. We get to have knowledge about both Ayurveda and modern medicine, as the BAMS curriculum involves both.

It is good to take the course if you are capable but go through subjects before you join.
Placements: Per year, only 60–90 students are allotted to college after counseling. Salary is based on your practice; the highest we can expect is from INR 1 lacs to 2 lacs; the average salary is around INR 40 thousand. Setting up our own clinic is better than working for companies; this is what I am aiming for.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure available in our college is good, and we expect much from government colleges. We have a library, lab, auditorium, and much more. Hostel food is better; it depends on who is appointed, and it varies. Hostel rooms are 3–4 beds, and they will be clean it everyday, so we can join.
Faculty: Teachers are highly knowledgeable. But subjects are very difficult at first as it is new to us. We come across sanskrit as new afterwards, and we like our subjects after practical. Exams are very difficult, especially for 2 and year subjects, so prepare at least 4 months in advance.
Other: Because of a lack of awareness in the public, ayurveda is not developing, so without depressing yourself, try to like what you are doing, and results will come to you.

Satisfied with the course even though I couldn't crack neet for mbbs.
Placements: We get admission into this college through neet. We need to score min 300 to 350 marks in neet to join in this college. There are only 2 bams colleges in whole Telangana that too are government colleges. There is no possibility for management seats. Teaching and practical training is good in this college. As it is present in main city, OP in hospital is very high in a day which provides scope for students to learn. Our college have herbal garden, play group, Library, rasashala(pharmacy). We get to learn about manufacturing of ayurvedic medicines in rasashala ..
Infrastructure: We have digital classroom with projectors. We have library, play ground, laboratory, Hostel is average, not soo good. It is not suitable for students who are specially soo neat. Mess is also average. It is worth for money. We can study in classroom even after the timings of college. Watch man is present 24/7
Faculty: All the teaching faculty are post graduates. Some share their entire knowledge and experience. But some faculty donot share their experience. After this course we have many options to choose. We can get government jobs as medical officer, MLHP posts. We can also set up our own private hospital. There is also a scope in other countries in field of research. We can apply for teaching faculty in colleges
Other: There is scholarship every year for students including to those with EWS. Environment around the college is so good even though it is in centre of city.

It is an average medical college which is not up to your expectations.
Placements: There is no such thing as salary packages and placements as it is a medical college. We need to establish ourselves. After passing out of college, we can set up our own medical clinic or we can do PG.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is quite worse than other medical colleges. Usually, you expect colleges to be well built but not in this case. The hostel is average but the college seems to be built way back and needs a lot of repairs.
Faculty: In our college, faculty members are average but not up to the mark. There are many professor posts that needed to be filled. Teachers are good at teaching. Professors do a good job by showing their concern for students. I am very much impressed with a few professors who give their best.
Other: The campus is not much as you expect. We have higher expectations from the college but this college doesn't meet the expectations.
