Q:   How effective is the placement cell for B.Com courses at Medi-Caps University?

A:
{Source: B.Com students & alumni}

Effectiveness of Placement Cell for B.Com Courses at Medi-Caps University

Based on student reviews, here's what we found:

* Average Package: The average package offered by the college was around INR2 Lacs per annum.
* the highest Package: The highest package offered was around INR5 Lacs per annum.
* Top Recruiting Companies: Birla was one of the top recruiting companies that visited the campus.
* No Internships Provided: Unfortunately, no internship opportunities were provided by the college.
* Course Relevance: The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready, thanks to industrial visits organized by the college.
* Faculty Support: Teachers are highly qualified, knowledgeable, and supportive, providing extra classes when needed.

Overall, while there are some limitations to the placement cell (e.g., lack of internships), the college seems to have made efforts to provide its students with relevant education and industry exposure through industrial visits. However, more could be done to improve the overall effectiveness of the placement cell.

I'm definitely satisfied because of good faculty members and the best placements.
Placements: Students require at least an 8 CGPA for good placements. The highest package offered is 44 LPA, and the lowest package offered is 2 LPA. Java, HTML, Infotech, etc., are the top recruiting companies. Economics, Maths, etc., are offered in this course, and at least 75 percent is required.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure and other facilities are good in our department. Labs are well-maintained, the library contains millions of books and is well-silenced and disciplined, and classrooms are both digital and normal. I am not a hosteller; hence, I cannot review anything about the hostel.
Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable, with a good understanding. The course I'm doing is good and has different subjects in each semester. Exams are actually tough, as I thought they would be; they contain a number of logical and tricky questions, and the passing percentage is at least 33%.
Other: I chose this course because of its availability, and there's nothing else. I think many things need to be improved, like sanitation, etc. Fests are conducted once a year.

Placements are good in our college.
Placements: About 3-4 students get placed every year in our college. The average salary package offered ranges between 5-6 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 1.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Classrooms and the mess food are good. Wi-Fi facility is also available in our college.
Faculty: Faculty members are average. The exam pattern is good. It does not pressurize students. Some faculty members push students toward success. They provide project work and organise industrial visits.
Other: I opted for this course because I want to do an MBA. Events are held properly and managed by MBA students. Our college conducts extracurricular activities.

The college is well and good for every course and have good infrastructure, good placements.
Placements: Not much as students prefer MBA after graduation. According to me, 3.5 lacs has been the highest package in management as it depends upon the company and the top recruiting companies are one point one. More than 50% of students get an internship and the top role been offered is as an accountant, sales, etc.
Infrastructure: The facilities provide in the college is pretty well and good and the infrastructure has been maintained in a good way. Wi-Fi provided is good, the classroom is neat clean and labs are proper. The quality of hostels are good and mess and canteen and other facilities are average.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, confident and have enough knowledge to deal with the students and have good teaching techniques. Yes, this course is curriculum relevant and yes, it makes students ready for industry. The exams are not much difficult and according to student level. The pass percentage is 33.
Other: I chose this course because I want to do Masters in the management field which will make it me easy. The workload is been more according to other colleges. Moonstone is held on campus every year scholarship is also been provided for OBC and other castes.

It has very good infrastructure and all the facilities required by students with good placements.
Placements: There were about 60 students in the class, from which about 3-5 students got placed. The salary package offered is ranging from 1.5 to 5 LPA. Students were also allowed to do internships in the company of their choice. Recruiting companies include Infosys, HCL, TASKS, etc.
Infrastructure: There were all the facilities in the building like washrooms, gym, canteen, bus facility, library, shops and sports ground of all types. There was also a hostel for both boys and girls separately with all the facilities. The campus of our college was very big.
Faculty: Teachers who were teaching us were well-qualified in all aspects. They were also very helpful in the problems of the students. They had vast knowledge of the subjects they were teaching and were specialised in it. The teaching quality was good enough to make us industry-ready.
Other: The reason to choose this course was it has the lowest percentage requirement of class 12th. There were also many events like Moonstone, Dandiya Nights, etc. Scholarships were provided to SC, ST and OBC students. The campus surrounding was very good with lots of plants and trees.
