Worthy to study for the fees paid.
Placements: Masters in Journalism and Mass Communication is a 3 year PG course, which helps with the students who wish to work in media platform such as television, radio, newspapers. Our batch includes 25 students and 7 faculty members. We are enriched with modern studio, audio and video labs and so on.
Infrastructure: The facilities in the college are very good for the fields played. The campus Wi-Fi is free to students and has sufficient speed. The lab facilities are also good, as students get practice with the latest software and equipment, like cameras and lighting. The campus supports outdoor games such as volleyball and basketball, with well-designed courts.
Faculty: The faculty members are well-educated and experienced. The faculty team includes several Ph.D. holders. Their assistance is always available for both theoretical and practical work. The curriculum is very relevant for the students because it covers the latest information and follows the 2019 admission syllabus. The semesters are not very difficult. Students can clear the papers without much trouble.

MA in Journalism & Mass Communication (MA JMC) - Batch of 2020
Offered by De Paul Institute of Science and Technology (DiST)

Review of De Paul Institute of Science and Technology (DiST).
Placements: Students are eligible for internships from the second semester. A lot of renowned organisations visit our college for placements like India TV, Radio Mirchi, etc. After completing the degree, I want to work for a leading organisation and do a startup.
Infrastructure: Our college has two hostels. One hostel is for boys, and one hostel is for girls. The food served in the mess is good. The menu is very good. It provides vegetarian and non-vegetarian food items. Each floor has a bathroom. It is hygienic. All rooms are spacious. The hostel has a huge study hall. All hostels provide all basic facilities for students.
Faculty: The course curriculum consists of 2 years. It is divided into 4 semesters. The first two semesters have all the introductory subjects for building the base for specialisation in the second year. Four subjects are taught by dividing into two parts. The subject includes journalism, advertising and PR, cinema and basic photography, and basic research. For the specialisation in the second year, there are four fields to choose from. We can choose journalism, new media, advertisement, and film and TV production. Students have to fill out a form for their priorities of specialisation. At the end of every semester, there is a theory paper. It is subjective along with practicals which include project and research work. Exams are held to develop our skills.
Other: There are around 40 students in our class. The course fee is Rs. 37,000 per year. I opted for this course because it provides all equipment.
