Poornima University BTech Eligibility & Highlights 2024

BTech is a four-year course divided into eight semesters. Poornima University BTech is offered in eight specialisations through Faculty of Computer Science Engineering and Faculty of Engineering & Technology. The university also provides lateral entry admission to the BTech course. Candidates who have passed Class 12 are eligible to apply for any of the BTech specialisation.

Selection criteria: Merit-based

Eligibility: Class 12 with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for SC/ ST/ OBC/ SBC) in Mathematics, Physics and, any one subject out of Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Electronics/ Information Technology/ Biology/ Informatics Practices/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational Subject/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/ Entrepreneurship.

Eligibility for BTech Civil & Mechanical: Class 12 with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for SC/ ST/ OBC/ SBC) in Mathematics, Physics and, Chemistry.

Eligibility: Class 12 with a two-year diploma or Class 10 with a three-year Diploma in Engineering or BSc degree with Mathematics in Class 12 and students need to clear the subjects Engineering Graphics/ Engineering Drawing/ and Engineering Mechanics of the first year Engineering course along with second-year subjects.

The university is good for average students in their studies.

Placements: About 40-50% got students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered in our college is 35 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, ICICI Bank, etc., visit the college to hire students. About 80% of students got internships in small companies. Top roles like data security, cyber analysts, and cyber security engineers are offered in our course.

Infrastructure: There were all facilities like Wi-Fi, computer labs, high-tech classes and also a library. Food quality in the hostel is below average and canteen food is good. Medical facilities are also available and the university ambulance is available 24x7 on campus. All types of sports facilities like football, cricket and volleyball.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful expect 1-2 teachers. They have a lot of knowledge because they have many years of teaching experience. Teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is good, and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are average but also difficult. The pass percentage is about 60-70%.

I am satisfied with faculty and good placements. College has good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: The highest package this year is 35 LPA, and the average is 5.5 LPA. The college provides many courses and other specialisations in AI and data science. Other additional support is also provided, like premiums and internships for an individual.

Infrastructure: B.Tech course classes are covered with curtains, and AC rooms are available. All rooms have projectors, and each bench has an individual switchboard for their laptops and charging points. The hostel facility is all good; the mess has a variety of food according to time and season, and the college mostly supports other activities like sports in a great manner. Many students go for a national state and in other competitions from the college. And sometimes college also supports video game competitions in college.

Faculty: Teachers nature is very kind and helpful Most of the teachers Ara qualified from NITs and Ph.D. holders and were well experienced in their field. Most of the teachers take real-life examples and use 3D ways for better understanding. The course is relevant. Semester exams are not easy and not so difficult; they may vary with individual subjects. End semester is 60 marks and required 20 marks to pass it.

Other: College timely conducts many events, including dance nights and other activities like dancing and cultural activities. Many celebrities come to college events, and it is really very joyful. The college also provides other supports, like providing labs for students who want to spend more time in labs without any lectures, then he/she is allowed to do their work. They provide other information through mail, like important internships, scholarships, and competitions at the national level.

Poornima is for money not for education .

Placements: Placements are quite good itsdeoend on students CGPA if he/she has a good CGPA and industry knowledge he/she must get a good package minimum package is 2 LPA avg is 5 and maximum is 9 LPA. Student must have more then 7 CGPA for good placement also industry knowledge .

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite good but there is no Wi-Fi facility in college classroom library are fine there are 45000+ books in library. Quality of food is average not that much good. There is no medical facilities in college and sports are fine there is basketball and other games .

Faculty: The teacher faculty is helpful also almost all the faculty is Ph.D. qualified and knowledgeable faculty. But the course is not that much relevant. Semester exams difficult is hard. And the pass percentage is 4 CGPA. But behaviour of dean and holds are totally B.Ed.

Good faculty and infrastructure.

Placements: Not much knowledge about the placement at my college. But I think that there is no specific company that comes to my college, especially for the B.Tech AI course. The training and placement cell is average in my college, but it supports the students in getting placement in companies.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the course, hostel, and college is good. The green environment supports sustainability. My college also has a water treatment plant, which is used for gardening purposes and some other works as well. This is a very good thing for the environment.

Faculty: The faculty members of my college are good, and the curriculum of my course is also good. There are strict regulations for exams. The faculty members of my college are experienced and have a very good nature. Exams are taken in a strict way so that students can study very well and learn new things.

Other: There is only one fest in my college, which is called Lakshay. It is very good.

I am not very happy with this university so i don't recommend it and this is my honest review

Placements: Percentage is not the main issue in the private colleges or in private universities main problem in my university is that they completely focus on the one thing and that is student get the job but university don't give the knowledge. I am in currently doing B.tech in cs but i don't have my own domain knowledge. First coding subject in cs is c language but due to various type of excuses university change 3 facilities and this is thing is also continues in other subjects also so Self study is best key don't focus on the colleges and regret to be in this university

Infrastructure: In Infrastructure all private university are good and that include my university (Poornima University) and Wi-fi, Labs, Classrooms, Library etc are all perfect in poornima. Facilities are good but they change the facilities or facilities leave on their on own because of the system in poornima university. Students also suffer because of their rules and regulations it's feels like i am currently in school. College life mean that you know what you wanna be but i don't have time to think about my own future because of their rules and regulation they try to create a puppet how do only job 8 to 8 in minimum salary they don't think about what student wanna to or about knowledge

Faculty: Teachers in poornima are all very good and supportive but the above management is all are good for nothing and i am said that because of the poorniam management system their are so useless rules in the system that it feels like i am not in college i am in school even school don't have that many rules and regulations Exam are also the problem because as i said that i lack behind other because of depend upon the college and know even if i wanna give the time to on what's lack behind their is no time because of exams their exam in every months so i have to focus on exam subjects

Other: B.tech in cs course is the course which you have to give your best to be not left behind the others and even if you left you know how to uplift yourself but in poornima university productivity is zero they only train you in the how to get job and live your life they just make your daily routine like that so you really don't have any productivity and you work like a puppet or a machine
