PRSU BPEd Courses & Fees 2023: Admission Dates, Eligibility, Selection & Application Process

The application process for BPEd at PRSU is carried out via online and offline modes. Candidates can buy the admission form by visiting the PRSU campus in person to submit the form in offline mode. Additionally, for online applications, candidates can visit the university campus. The steps to register and fill out the online form are further mentioned below:

1. Visit the PRSU official website (prsu.ac.in).
2. Click on the registration link and download the application.
3. Fill out the application form carefully.
4. Payment of the application fee, which is INR 400.
5. Submit the application form.

NOTE: For offline submission, candidates need to accompany the application form with a DD of INR 400 payable to the Registrar, Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur. It must be noted that this fee is as per past years’ records and hence is indicative.

As per the NIRF 2022 rankings, PRSU was ranked 78 All India and second among the Chhattisgarh colleges. The state university is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC). There are nearly six PRSU-affiliated colleges that offer BPEd courses. The duration of the UG course is from two to three years. Tabulated below are the names of the affiliated colleges:

Candidates shall first check the eligibility requirements. Admission to BPEd course at PRSU is completely merit-based. Candidates are selected based on their scores obtained in the last qualifying exam of undergraduate. Aspirants who meet the criteria can fill out the application form. PRSU BPEd admission form can be collected from the university campus or by visiting the university website (prsu.ac.in). Moreover, to submit the form successfully, aspirants need to pay a fee of INR 400. For online payment, fees can be paid through credit card/debit card/net banking. Additionally, for offline applications, a DD of INR 400 is payable to the Registrar, Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur. Selection is further merit-based.

For admission to a two-year BPEd course at PRSU, it is crucial that each candidate meets the minimum eligibility requirements for the course as per the university's norms. Aspirants must pass Class 12 or equivalent exam pass from the Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education or any other recognised board. Further, they must have a UG degree in any discipline with 50% aggregate and a mandatory participation in any inter-college/ inter-zonal/ District/ School competition in sports and games as recognised by AIU/ IOA/ SGFI/ Govt. of India is required. The applicants have to submit the academic certificates and other important documents during form filling and admission confirmation as proof of eligibility.
