Jul 16, 2024: Startup Uttarakhand and MSME-recognized Startup Incubator, Genesis Incubation Center at Quantum University in Roorkee, successfully hosted the Bharat Pitchathon 3.0 Uttarakhand Edition on Saturday, July 13. Part of Headstart Network's initiative, the event showcased vibrant innovation and entrepreneurship, continuing the success of the previous two editions hosted by Genesis.

Quantum University's Pankaj Batra Shines at IndiaSkills 2024: Wins Silver Medal in Mobile App Development

May 22, 2024: Students at Quantum University continue to inspire everyone with their accomplishments, one after another. At the nation's biggest talent competition, IndiaSkills 2024, held in New Delhi from May 15–19 by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), Pankaj Batra of BTech CSE took home a Silver Medal. With over 2.5 lakh attendees, 900 students and 400 business professionals were selected for further consideration from over 30 states and union territories. Pankaj, a student at Quantum, placed second in the Mobile App Development category. 

The four-day IndiaSkills event gave participants the chance to display their wide range of abilities on a national stage in 61 different skills, from cutting-edge technologies to traditional crafts. In addition, the students engaged in nine demonstration skills, including prosthetic makeup, leather shoemaking, textile weaving, and drone filming. Even though the competition was fierce, Pankaj gave it his all, demonstrating exceptional talent and commitment. He made an impression on everyone around him with his innovative ideas and dedication to work. Everyone in attendance found great inspiration in his dedication and focus.

The winners will be ready for the WorldSkills Competition, which is set to take place in Lyon, France in September 2024, with the assistance of the top industry trainers. Delhi High Court Judge Honors Quantum University’s 3rd National Moot Court Competition ‘JURISPRUDENCE 24’  

May 7, 2024:The Quantum School of Law at Quantum University, a prominent legal institution in North India, effectively organized the 3rd iteration of its two-day National Moot Court Competition, titled "JURISPRUDENCE 24", on May 4th and 5th, 2024. This year's focus was on 'Competition Law' and it paid tribute to the late Fali Sam Nariman, an iconic legal figure in the Indian community. Hon'ble Justice Amit Bansal from the Delhi High Court graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, while Advocate TS Bindra, a Senior Advocate from Dehradun, and Advocate Samaksh Goyal from New Delhi, were honored as Guests of Honour.

The event attracted 17 teams from across India, representing esteemed institutions including National Law Universities and renowned private universities. Students from various universities, such as Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Patiala, Symbiosis Law School, Pune, Jai Narain Vyas University, Jodhpur, National Law University (Shimla), etc., showcased well-structured arguments, deliberating on the given subject's merits and demerits.

Quantum University Celebrates Cultural & Tech Fusion on 2nd Day of Dharohar 2024 

April 10, 2024: On the second day of Quantum University's annual festival, Dharohar 2024, the vibe was electrifying. The staff and students gathered to celebrate the spirit of invention and innovation, and the campus came alive with a fusion of technical and cultural presentations. Honorary guests who graced the festival with their presence as Chief Guest and Guest of Honour, respectively, were Yashpal Sardana, Associate Vice President and Plant Head at Hero MotoCorp Ltd, Haridwar, and RK Singh, Chief General Manager at Engineers India Limited. 

Srijan 2.0, the Startup Expo 2024, which included more than ten Uttarakhandi startups, was one of the day's main highlights. Cutting-edge companies like Indian Hempstore, Bakri Chhap, and Zermonk displayed their ground-breaking goods, demonstrating the thriving startup scene in the area.

The main venue for the opening of numerous contests and events was the Shyamji Auditorium. Setting the tone for the celebrations, the day began with customary fervour, complete with a Saraswati Vandana and a Garhwali welcome dance. In his speech, Yashpal Sardana stressed the value of cultural events in giving students motivation and fresh perspectives. 

The Prototype Expo, organised by Srijan 2.0, showcased inventive prototypes and early-stage enterprises, demonstrating the inventiveness of the student body. On the same day, the Partners Unity Fest was launched, demonstrating the university's dedication to encouraging innovation and entrepreneurship. December 19, 2023: Leading university Quantum University recently won the prestigious 3-day Prerna Vimarsh-2023, the Prerna Chitra Bharti Film Festival, which took place in Noida. December 6, 2023: Roorkee: The Prarambham - An Agri firm Competition under Sambhramaa 4.0 was won by 'Vetcurekart,' a firm incubated by Quantum University and its incubator Genesis. On December 2nd, the Imperial School of Agri-Business (ISAB) and its Entrepreneurship and Innovation Club hosted a presentation on the tremendous talent emerging from the agriculture sector in Greater Noida. The imaginative students of Vetcure Kart from Quantum University enthralled the judges with an excellent pitch, gaining first place and a prize of 15,000 INR in a competitive competition including over 400 entrants from around India. ISAB- Agro-Marketing Club, which is a hub for debating, devising, planning, implementing, and monitoring marketing strategies customized to the requirements and desires of customers, was instrumental in the event's organization. This platform encourages creative thought processes and new ideals while connecting them to the present agricultural market reality, resulting in a win-win situation for both consumers and producers (farmers).

Vetcure Kart's prosperous path was led by a dynamic team lead by Abhinav Pallav as Founder and CEO. Himanshu Kumar served as COO, Harsh Raj as CFO, and Ravi Bhushan as CMO. Other major contributors included Adarsh Pallav, Irfran Akhtar, Sneha Kumari, Adithi Singh, and Jyoti Kumari, who helped the team win the Prarambham Agri Startup Competition. This accomplishment spanned three rounds: the Abstract Submission Round, the Exclusive Summary Round, and the Pitching Round. Students exhibited their knowledge by answering smart questions on logistics, business models, consulting services, and the strengths of their strong team. This in-depth awareness of the startup industry was critical to Vetcure Kart's success. TCS Promotes TCS CodeVita Season XI at Quantum University

November 20, 2023: In support of Quantum University's Departments of Computer Science and Engineering  and Computer Applications, Tata Consultancy Services recently organised TCS CodeVita Season XI, the largest programming competition in the world. HR executives from TCS, Mr. Gaurav Singh, Mr. Yash Parashar, and Ms. Ashi Garg, honoured the campus with their knowledge at the occasion.

For the competition that will take place in the future, close to 500 pupils have already registered online, providing them with a special chance to demonstrate their coding abilities. Tata Consultancy Services hosts the annual TCS CodeVita online coding competition on a worldwide scale to promote programming as a sport. Regardless of geographical and cultural barriers, TCS fosters connections between individuals of different nationalities and backgrounds. For the next years, this tournament is often held for undergraduate, graduate, and diploma students with backgrounds in science and engineering.

Ms. Ashi Garg shared her wealth of knowledge, providing insightful advice and illuminating the difficulties of the career path. From Words to Verses: Quantum University Successfully Hosts 5th Edition of Abhivyakti Literary Fest & Kavyanjali

 

 

October 10, 2023: During the three-day 'Abhivyakti' fest, which culminated in the enthralling 'Kavyanjali' poetry event, the bustling campus of Quantum University, Roorkee, came alive with literary magic. Abhivyakti, a literary festival, took place from October 6th to 8th, offering a stimulating literary vacation for students, teachers, and enthusiasts in the heart of Quantum University. Through various tournaments, over ten schools from Roorkee and Saharanpur got together to showcase their abilities and enrich their experiences. The evening of poetry and personal feelings added shine to the gathering at Kavyanjali.

The lyrical highlight of the festival, Kavyanjali, saw renowned poets infuse their verses with life and leave an everlasting impact on the audience. The spoken poetry generated a wide spectrum of emotions, from patriotism to love and joy, resulting in a fascinating plot. Dr. Sarita Sharma, Mr. Syam Srivastav, Mr. Gaurav Sharma, and Mr. Ajay Anjam were among the eminent poets who performed, keeping the audience fascinated and ensuring the event remained imprinted in their memories. Dr. Sarita Sharma gave dimension to the event by making interesting parallels, which kept the audience's attention until the end. The occasion was attended by significant figures such as the Founder President, Mr. Shyam Sunder Goyal, and the Chancellor of the University, Mr. Ajay Goyal. Government's Millet Campaign Inspires Quantum University's Millet Food Stall Competition

October 3, 2023: The Government of India is promoting the production and consumption of these healthy grains through a variety of interactive activities including quizzes, recipe sharing, and slogan competitions around the country in 2023, which has been designated as the International Year of Millets. The Department of Applied Medical Sciences and Hotel Management at Quantum University collaborated to create a unique event—the Millet-based Food Stall Competition—as a part of this international endeavor. This innovative project demonstrated the art of cooking with millets and emphasised their important function in producing delicious and nutritious snacks. Milletacious Bars, Ragi Brownies, Multi-grain Namkeen, Ragi Ladoos, Bajra Ladoos, Bajra Cutlets, and Barnyard Millet Kheer with Khajuria, all expertly made, were just a few of the delectable treats on display at the 13 kiosks. 

"Through this competition, we are showcasing the talents of our students and disseminating important information about millets," said Mr. Ajay Goyal, chairman of Quantum University. It demonstrates how even tiny dietary adjustments can greatly impact overall health. "The fusion of culinary expertise with a focus on health is a remarkable step forward," said Dr Vivek Kumar, vice chancellor of Quantum University. Being a member of a project promoting healthier eating habits via education and inspiration is an honour. The competition culminated with a joyous announcement of the victors, during which the youngsters displayed their great talent. The duo behind the delicious Ragi Nachos Chaat, expertly made by Gaurav Joshi and Rajat Narayan, won the Millet-based Food Competition.

Since September is recognised as Nutrition Month, Quantum University upholds this custom by holding a number of health-related activities and campaigns every year to spread awareness of the role that nutrition plays in general well-being. Students of BSc and MSc Visits Bharti Dairy Products

March 19, 2020: The Quantum School of Health Sciences- Quantum University organised an industrial visit for over 50 BSc and MSc students of Nutrition and Dietitics domain to Bharti Dairy Products. The visit was aimed at giving students practical experience of working environment in food processing plants. Students were demonstrated milk collection and processing process, sensory visual, adulteration techniques, milk distribution systems, product lines, supply chains process, testing of fat content by manual and machine process, chilling, homogenisation, pasteurisation and packaging of the milk. They also learnt about various stages of quality assurance process followed by packaging, post packaging and delivery system. They also experienced the making of milk products such curd, cottage cheese and cheese. it was a highly engaging experience and students were able to learn interaction, job processes and professional habits. It increased students ' awareness and access.

School of Technology Organises Seminar on Cyber Security

March 5, 2020: The Quantum School of Technology, Quantum University organsied a seminar on Cyber Security for BCA students.  The seminar was witnessed by over 70 students. The conference intended to demonstrate the seriousness of today's cybercrimes. The seminar was facilitated by faculty member Deepak Kumar, who explained the rise of cybercrimes with increasing dependency on Technology. He also made students aware of different kinds of cyber attacks in business and industry and also of the numerous jobs available in the cyber-safety market.

University Organises Workshop on ‘Analysis of Financial Budget-2020’

February 5, 2020: Dean of Quantum School of Business facilitated a workshop on ‘Analysis of Financial Budget-2020’ on February 4. The students along with professors of the department attended the workshop. The students presented a comprehensive budget review and its all aspects including Direct/Indirect Taxation, Education Infrastructure, Start-up Development, MSME, Pension, Fiance Sector, Technology Department, Women Empowerment, House Hold and NRI Banking. Students emphasized more on outlay-output-outcomes framework of the budget. Students analysed the Budget's effect on the stock market in India at the end of the workshop.

Faculty and facilities at the college are top-notch.

Placements: Quantum University is one of the best universities in Dehradun for MBA courses. Around 40%–50% of students got placed. The college offers salary packages between 7 LPA and 12 LPA. Top recruiting companies are IBM, Techno India, Capgemini, Deloitte, and Infosys. Top roles offered are HR, consultant, recruiter, and advisor.

This review is regarding the faculty and the campus of the university .

Placements: Placements are good. Many of my seniors are placed in various companies, like Mahindra and various others. The teachers are very supportive and help the students get placed in a good company with a good package. The placement cell of the college is very active.

Honest opinion of Quantum University.

Placements: As per college, 40 LPA was the highest package of college till now. This year, it was 27 LPA, and the average placement was around 5 LPA. 1770 offers have been given to students until now. The top recruiters were Zscaler, Chegg, Jio, Airtel, Axis Bank, etc. Internships are not provided inside college like placements, & you have to find internships of your own.

Placements: More than 85% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered in our course is 33.25 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is around 8.5 LPA - 9 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are Capgemini, TCS, Mahindra, and Tech. Around 75% of students got internships from our course.

With over 85% of its students placed in over 50 blue-chip companies with packages of 33.5 Lacs.

Placements: Overall, 70% students were placed during this session. The highest packages are 27.6 LPA, the lowest are 4-5 LPA, and the average is around 8-10 LPA. Many top recruiting companies give placements to students of our course. About 60-70% of students got internships from our course in many top companies.

The Reality of Quantum University.

Placements: In my course, BCA, the placement percentage was very low the previous year and this year. The highest package offered in my course was 7 LPA, the lowest was 3.6 LPA, and the average was 4 LPA. The top recruiting companies in my college are Chegg, Wipro, and Chetu. Internships are very difficult to get here. Very few students get internships. The top roles are web-developed.
