It is a good college to study but can't make an excellent career.

Placements: Placements in our college are really good as compared to other colleges in Surat. Especially for computer science and information technology branches, there are lots of placement offers. After NIT, this is a good college to choose in Surat. For civil engineering, chemical engineering, textile engineering, I have not seen that much opportunities. Moreover, recently, the mechanical engineering branch is also started in our college so can't say about the placements of these branches. However, place...

The best college in terms of crowd and faculty, and the course curriculum is average.

Placements: Placements are very good for students from computer science and information technology streams. Companies such as TCS, Essar, Epam and Kahuna Tech actively take participation in our college placements. The average package offered to the students is about 3-5 LPA. For students other than IT and computer science branches, the placement opportunities are average.

Review of Sarvajanik College of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: The college does invite a few companies on-board. Placements are handled by Mr Shabbir Ghadiali. Salary packages offered range from 1.7 LPA to 3.4 LPA in 2017. Everyone does not get placed. Almost 20% of the batch might be getting placements from the campus. The figures I have quoted are from 2017, and they might have improved since then.

Absolutely satisfied with the faculty and ROI.

Placements: Around 35-40 students were placed in well-known companies like Infosys, IBM, TSC, and Reliance with a package of 3-6 Lacs per annum. It is the best college in Surat among the other GTU colleges. Placements were decent for my batch. Around 10-12 students were selected from our batch for Infosys.

Very supportive and good college among the colleges affiliated to Gujarat technological University.

Placements: This is a very good college for placements among the colleges in south Gujarat region. Our faculty members offer a lot of job opportunities. Last year, TCS hired 30 students from the college. Many local companies also visit the campus to offer internships and placements.

I am quite disappointed with all aspects of the college.

Placements: Training and placement department of the college is good but local companies from Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara, Pune visit our college for placements. These companies offer salary packages between 1.5 LPA to 4.5 LPA. TCS visited our campus for placements. Roles of junior engineer, sales executive, etc., are offered.

The college has provided a very good launch pad to boost my career.

Placements: The college provided good placement opportunities to all the students. Around 60-70 students were paced from the batch 2010-2014. The location of our college is the biggest advantage. Students get opportunities in different sectors as companies from different fields visit the campus to offer placements. The placement reports are provided on the college website.
