Q:   Is M.Pharma at Shoolini University worth the investment?

    A:
    {Source: M.Pharma students & alumni}

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's a summary of the pros and cons:

    Pros:
    * Good infrastructure, especially in terms of hostels and laboratories
    * Friendly and supportive teaching faculty
    * Library with a wide range of books and good Wi-Fi connectivity
    * Cleanliness and green initiatives within the university campus
    * Flexible timing for girl students living in hostels

    Cons:
    * Poor placement record for research-oriented students, with most companies visiting for sales and marketing positions
    * Limited opportunities for internships, with students having to rely on personal connections
    * High fees for hostels (around INR60,000 per semester)
    * Poor food quality in hostels
    * Limited availability of instruments and equipment in laboratories
    * Offline exams for some departments, which can lead to cheating and a lack of emphasis on academic rigor

    Recommendation:
While Shoolini University offers good infrastructure and a supportive faculty, its placement record leaves room for improvement, particularly for students interested in pursuing careers in research and development. Students considering investing in the M.Pharma programme at Shoolini University should weigh these factors carefully before making their decision. It is essential to explore alternative options and potential career paths beyond just relying on the university's placement services.

Good college but not satisfying for research students.
Placements: Placements are not good for the students who wants to work in research field. Rest companies for sales and other core departments visit to hire students. Placement is poor for research student rest it is good for the departments. Placement is very poor for rese students.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is best in North India. Hostel facility are also good in terms of cleanliness, hygiene and other. Rest ambulance facility is also provided to the students in case of any health issue. Hostel is safe for girls, flexible timings are given to girls to stay out of the hostel.
Faculty: Faculty, curriculum and exams are helpful. Teachers are best, helpful, hardworking and supportive. Expert teachers in term of research work. There should be lift in the hostel because it's 7 floor story building which is very dic to climb so hostel needs to work on this.
    Other: No.

Not happy and not useful for research scholars of Masters.
Placements: None have been came in 2023 and no core placement for pharmacy. And shoolini ensure that 100% placement. But no core for Masters. Only sales company hire student and give below average package. If someone has source then they go for internship but from the university no help is gained for internship.
Infrastructure: Infra is good enough, hostel is also good with vending machine facilites included and college for pharmacy is also maintained but in labs no distilled water available with uneven machine in it. Canteen available upside of hostel and late night snacks are available in hostel. Wi-Fi is best in campus.
Faculty: Faculty is good. Dean sir is best with wode source of knowledge and also helpful he is ground to earth person and course is also good follow PCI rules and with whole university follow online exam pattern. But pharmacy follow offline exam pattern and also for research schlors only 5000 they give for research project and no instruments are there in university. We have to give our sample in Punjab university for testing.

Dissatisfied with the placement facility provided .
Placements: Even after doing Masters in pharmacy, companies came to pickup only for the marketing. Students need to be placed in core department like Research and Development, Food and Development. There is a need to approach companies from other states also.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi does not work properly not even in the labs and same issues in the hostel. Instruments are not working and there is a need to upgrade the labs of our department. We need to run up and down to ask for apparatus, glasswares and chemicals. Need to create a proper system .
Faculty: Exams are conducted offline but only for few department other than that online exams are in fashion which is bad for students. They study for the whole year and attend classes and at last exams are conducted offline which is not accepted as student can cheat and they will not take examinat seriously. Even after the examination is conducted offline they charge fees for the examination. Also they charge transport charges to the all the hostel students even if they did not use the transport facility of the University.

    Not satisfied with placement.
Placements: 100% placements are not there. They are providing out of the core companies. Only marketing companies come for the placement. They actually don't know students need. Only 10 - 20% students get placed every year.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good enough but fees too high in hostel. Food is not good in taste. They take too much high fees for hostel, it is around 60000 INR per semester. Vegetables in hostel are very bad and unhygienic.
Faculty: Faculty members are best. Overall curriculum and pattern of exams is nice. There are no instruments in the labs. There is lack of glassware and chemicals for the practicals. They do theoretical classes only.

Overall grade I must say is good. But have to do well with placement programme.
Placements: Placement is not appreciable. Low anount of students were placed last year from campus. The package is also very poor. Core pharmaceutical companies are not approching the institute for placement procedure. Please try to bring companies related to our field.
Infrastructure: Shoolini University is fare enough to give the good infrastructure in labs. The facilities are well established. The library contains a lot of books. Students visit library for educational purpose with good Wi-Fi facility. Hostels are excellent for the maintenance of cleanliness. The food quality is poor enough.
Faculty: Teachers are well knowledge. Teaching quality is also good. Teachers are very much cooperative. They makes student ready for industry. The semester exam is followed by the syllabus. 90% of the students get pass. Teachers are friendly in nature. They are the first one will stand with students.
Other: I choose this course to learn about medicines .

Infrastructure and Faculty is good but hostel good is just waste of resources.
Placements: Placement is not appropriate for master level students. Local and same Companies recruits students at minimal package which is not good. There are placement for generalised post not any core pharma company with adequate package. May the placement improve in future.
Infrastructure: Library is the best place you can ever find anywhere. Wi-Fi is good. Infrastructure of hostel is good but food quality is worse. Sport facility including gym is too good. Labs are not adequate for master level candidate. Good options are good here - brunchies, nescafe. University is clean and support green India movement. University focus on not harming nature for growing.
Faculty: Teaching faculty is well educated and supportive. Passing % are 60. Exams are fair enough. Syllabus for students is well designed and effective from job perspective. Faculty is with good experience and culture of handing student is good. This university may not excellent but it's good.
Other: There are no scholarship for anything.
