Really good college for students pursuing a good future in academics in the B.Sc. RIT.
Placements: 20% of students were placed in my course. The highest package of the overall university is 60 LPA and in my course, the highest package offered by hospitals is 10 LPA, the lowest package is 2 LPA, and the average package is 4 LPA. The top hospitals which participated in campus placements are Apollo and Vedanta. All students got internships from my course except 10%. The top role is MRI Technician.
Infrastructure: The following facilities are available for my course: Wi-Fi-enabled campus with a speed of more than 300 Mbps. All required labs are available. Classrooms are well-furnished with projectors and microphones. The library is available with all the required books needed for the course. The following facilities are available in the hostel: a maximum of four-seater rooms are available with combined washrooms and a cooler. The food quality is better than expected, but it tastes bad. The college hospital is 5 minutes away from the hostel via ambulance. A cricket ground is available, and there is an indoor facility with world-class amenities.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, well-qualified, and have good knowledge of their assigned subjects. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is assigned and authorized by the government, and it makes students knowledgeable in their field. The semester exam can be rated as average. The pass percentage is 45%, and most students pass the semester except for 2-5%.
Other: Well, the course was suggested by my family among all the paramedical courses. The best thing is that you can choose any of the academic, treatment, and diagnosis fields after completing the course. The improvement I would suggest is that the course should be more practical-based with an increased number of clinical postings. Many events are organized by the university, like convocation, annual fest, etc. The campus crowd is not bad, though. Connectivity is usually available. The campus is better than the surrounding area present around the campus.

    Better education of my college.
Placements: My college placement has a percentage of 90 to 95% every year. The highest placement in my college is 8 lacs per annum, and the lowest is 600,000 per annum. The top recruiting companies in my college are Singenta, Dehat, and Animall. 80% of students got internships. The top roles offered in this course are civil service, bank service, forest service, and other services.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. The size of the classroom is big with complete, ventilated AC, and the condition of the bench is good. In the hostel, we have a canteen, a separate study room, a cricket room, an indoor TV room, and attached and common washrooms. The quality of food is very good.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are very helpful and highly knowledgeable. All are Ph.D. holders. They regularly communicate with students and guide them for the future and have regular doubt classes. The semester exam is very good; they ask questions on the basis of the classes. The passing percentage is 97%.
Other: I choose this course because my childhood dream was to become an agriculturist. I want to improve the agricultural sector in India. I want to improve organic farming in India and mushroom cultivation. Every year we have a two- or three-event and convocation program.

The college is good and improvement is needed.
Placements: The placement percentage is very low, and only one or two companies come for placements. The packages offered are very low, and the faculty is not doing enough to help students get jobs.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi is unreliable, especially in the winter. The library is too small and should be on campus, not off-site. The food is below average and not very appetizing. The sports and games are good, but not everyone participates.
Faculty: The teachers are good, but more practical knowledge is required, such as field experience and visits to various types of places. Also, the curriculum should be provided in advance so that students can plan accordingly. Exams should be conducted in a manner that allows students to share their experiences, which would help them score higher grades.
Other: I chose Agriculture as my major because I am deeply attracted to it. It is the main occupation in India, and I think it is a very good course of study. However, there are only a few events and fests each year, and extracurricular activities need to be improved.

Absolutely satisfied, because of the placements provided here and friendly behavior of faculties.
Placements: 80% students are placed in the college. The lowest package is 4 Lacs per annum and the highest package is 6 Lacs per annum. Most of the companies recruited here are from Germany, Australia, and Denmark. 100% of students can get internships from the college. The top roles offered in the college are improved farming techniques.
Infrastructure: The facilities and the infrastructure are awesome. The labs have high infrastructure. The college and the hostel have good Wi-Fi facilities. The library contains plenty of books so we can refer and study. The food from the hostel mess and canteen is good. The university has its own hospital with good medical facilities, and there is no consultation fee for the students in the college. There are plenty of sports and games in the college so that we can develop our skills in it.
Faculty: The teachers are very friendly with Ph.D. qualifications in the respective subjects. The teaching quality is perfect. This course curriculum is relevant and makes the students industry-ready. The difficulty level of semester exams is moderate. 90% of the students passed in the previous semester exams.
Other: I need to become a food safety officer, that's why I chose this course. The best thing about this course is that we will get more close to farming practices. One thing the college needs to improve is the timely giving of assignments; here, assignments are given by the end of the semester. Events like Onam, Christmas, cultural fests, etc., are celebrated. Various extracurricular activities like yoga, dance, etc., are encouraged.

Satisfied as I am placed in a good hospital.
Placements: In TMU, I was there in the College of Nursing and almost all the students were placed in a good hospital. The lowest package is 15 thousand per month in college hospitals and the highest package is between 3-3.5 lacs. An internship was provided in my college hospital.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure of the college are very good and beautiful. All facilities are available in the lab, a good library for all nursing students, and clean and big classrooms were present. The hostel is so good so far. The quality of food in the mess is a little average but the quality of the canteen food is very good.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers were strict but helpful as well when needed and highly qualified and very knowledgeable. The teaching quality was excellent. Yes, the course curriculum was relevant for making students industry-ready. The difficulty level in semester exams is medium to hard.

I am satisfied with campus life.
Placements: Our college is offering less placements. So, yearly 4 LPA -5 LPA is the salary package. Interviews are not conducted for selection. Byjus, Zeneva, Smuragro, and Gujarat Pesticides are some of the top recruiting companies. Some of the positions are business management trainees, business development trainees, etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available, and more than two Wi-Fi connections. Library is available for students up to 8:00 pm. All types of books are available. Classrooms have good interior design, are nature-friendly, etc. Quality of hostel food is somewhat not acceptable to students.
Faculty: Teachers are all well-educated and have doctorates. All are well-experienced. They are friendly and share their experiences, knowledge, and opinions. Semester exam levels are average to tough, but it's okay if we study well. Teachers are helpful and support everyone.
Other: I chose this course by parents choice. This course offers more job opportunities. In this course, the practicals should be improved. Our college conducts cultural fests, sports, events, Diwali, Holi, freshers, farewell, etc.

Q:   Is it worth pursuing B.Sc. at TMU?

    A:
    {Source: B.Sc. students & alumni}

Based on the feedback from students and alumni, here's a summary of the key points:

    * Good Faculty: Teachers are generally helpful, knowledgeable, and experienced. Some professors hold PhDs from prestigious institutions.
    * Strong Infrastructure: The college has a good infrastructure, with Wi-Fi enabled campuses, well-equipped labs, and air-conditioned classrooms.
    * Placement Opportunities: While placements aren't exceptional, many students get placed in decent companies, with salaries ranging from INR3-INR6 Lacs per annum.
    * Scholarship Options: The college offers scholarships, including 50% scholarships for Jain students.
    * Events and Activities: The college organizes various events, festivals, and competitions, providing a lively atmosphere.
    * Library and Resources: The college has an extensive library with over 40,000 books, and resources like solar panels and skill-based programs.
    * Food and Accommodation: Hostel accommodations are comfortable, with options for air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned rooms. Mess food is decent, although some complain about quality.
    * Campus Life: The campus is spacious, with ample space for recreational activities like sports and music.

However, some areas for improvement mentioned by students include:

    * Tiring Timings: Classes typically run from 9 am to 4 pm, which might be challenging for some students.
    * Lab Sharing: Engineering and B.Sc. students sometimes share the same labs, which can lead to issues with accessibility and availability.
    * Internet Connectivity: While Wi-Fi is available, it may not always function smoothly throughout the campus.

Overall, pursuing a B.Sc. at TMU seems like a viable option, considering the college's strengths in faculty, infrastructure, and placement opportunities. However, it's essential to weigh these positives against the drawbacks mentioned by students and consider whether the college aligns with individual preferences and needs.
