Only people truly interested in horticulture research opt for this.

Placements: The placements in the college are pretty much non-existent. After the completion of your 4-year degree course, there are no direct placements, and we have to find jobs on our own or opt for higher studies. There are no companies, organizations, or institutions that come to the college to hire us. This is one of the drawbacks of this course.

Satisfied by the course but the scope for the field should be hyped.

Placements: Placements are not bad and placements are available for about a month. Placements are provided in nursery placements, biotechnology lab placements, placements into pesticide companies and many more.

The campus is good, with a nice infrastructure, and the hostel facilities are good.

Placements: No one is placed in any company because there is no placement the facility on our campus. No package facility due to placement. No one will come to recruit from our campus. The Internships are like placements in nearby companies and nurseries.

Our college has a good infrastructure, few placements, and excellent faculty members.

Placements: In our college, only 20-30% of students are placed. The average salary offered is Rs.30,000 per month. Top recruiting companies like fertilizers, pesticides, etc., visit our campus. Some gardening sectors are recruiting horticulture graduates. Top roles offered are AHO, ADH, JRF, etc.

I am highly satisfied with good faculty members, infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Placements depend on our capability, and most of the students want to do M.Sc in agriculture, so no one attended campus interviews for a B.Sc horticulture degree. Only some students attended the campus interview, but all of them did not get a job. Jobs are offered to some students outside the college.

The lecturers are also very cooperative for extracurricular activities.

Placements: No campus selection. There were many opportunities in private companies like pesticide company, seed companies for about Rs. 30000-40000 salary i.e depending on the talent and skill of the student in work. Apart from that government jobs like HA, AHO, SO etc are also there. In our batch, only a few people joined the company. Some are doing M.Sc. while some are preparing for UPSC.

Good facilities but placement is needed.

Placements: None of the students were placed. No companies ever came to my college for placements. There is not any such placements or anything as in my college. Hence, there were no job opportunities in companies through placement cell.
