Satisfied by the course but the scope for the field should be hyped.

Placements: Placements are not bad and placements are available for about a month. Placements are provided in nursery placements, biotechnology lab placements, placements into pesticide companies and many more.

Only people truly interested in horticulture research opt for this.

Placements: The placements in the college are pretty much non-existent. After the completion of your 4-year degree course, there are no direct placements, and we have to find jobs on our own or opt for higher studies. There are no companies, organizations, or institutions that come to the college to hire us. This is one of the drawbacks of this course.

Really good teaching & faculty.

Placements: There are no placements, but it creates a way for higher studies like M.Sc., PhD., etc. Also, one can go for competitive exams. It has a very good coverage of subjects, which allows one to choose their passion and their stream for their higher studies or exams.

Good to learn, but not to earn.

Placements: There are no campus placements available at our college, but some professors have provided a contact list for job candidates. When placements come up, we aren't interested in them due to the low pay. Apart from placements, everything was fine, and the teaching staff is well qualified.

The campus is good, with a nice infrastructure, and the hostel facilities are good.

Placements: No one is placed in any company because there is no placement the facility on our campus. No package facility due to placement. No one will come to recruit from our campus. The Internships are like placements in nearby companies and nurseries.

Our college has a good infrastructure, few placements, and excellent faculty members.

Placements: In our college, only 20-30% of students are placed. The average salary offered is Rs.30,000 per month. Top recruiting companies like fertilizers, pesticides, etc., visit our campus. Some gardening sectors are recruiting horticulture graduates. Top roles offered are AHO, ADH, JRF, etc.

Review of College Of Horticulture, Munirabad - University of Horticulture Science.

Placements: Campus interviews are conducted every year. Many students have gotten high-paying jobs in excellent companies, which gives them the opportunity to learn and grow in their careers. They interview the final year students before their degree program is fully completed.

I am highly satisfied with good faculty members, infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Placements depend on our capability, and most of the students want to do M.Sc in agriculture, so no one attended campus interviews for a B.Sc horticulture degree. Only some students attended the campus interview, but all of them did not get a job. Jobs are offered to some students outside the college.

It is a good college for higher studies, but not for placements.

Placements: Placements were not good at our college, and many students prefer higher studies. Companies visit the campus for placements, but they offer low salary packages. Our seniors didn't receive a good salary package. All the students got placed in good industries in good domain area for internships, which provides more knowledge.

Our college provides good teaching and hostel facilities.

Placements: There is not every student who like to join the job. Some are preparing for competitive exams and some are doing their higher studies and few have joined the work. The highest salary package is Rs.35,000 per month and the lowest salary package is Rs.15,000 per month. Namadhari seeds, Basf, and Agriplex are the top recruiters. Nobody has gone for any internships. Roles offered are Horticulturist, horticulture sales officer, lab chemist, quality control agent, horticulture officer, farm manager, a...

The lecturers are also very cooperative for extracurricular activities.

Placements: No campus selection. There were many opportunities in private companies like pesticide company, seed companies for about Rs. 30000-40000 salary i.e depending on the talent and skill of the student in work. Apart from that government jobs like HA, AHO, SO etc are also there. In our batch, only a few people joined the company. Some are doing M.Sc. while some are preparing for UPSC.

Good facilities but placement is needed.

Placements: None of the students were placed. No companies ever came to my college for placements. There is not any such placements or anything as in my college. Hence, there were no job opportunities in companies through placement cell.
