UPRTOU BCom Eligibility & Highlights 2023

UPRTOU offers a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) programme at the undergraduate level. The course is offered in two sessions, one in July and the other in January. Admission information brochures are available at the University's regional offices in Praygraj, Bareilly, Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Lucknow, Ghaziabad, Meerut, Jhansi, Kanpur, Agra, Ayaodha, and Azamgarh, as well as all study centres. UPRTOU BCom Admission Process 2023: How to Apply?

Admission Process

All the applicants should fill out the online e-application form carefully. Candidates must get an enrollment number to be admitted to one of the programmes. To obtain the number, the candidate must complete both online and offline admission procedures. The procedures below are pre-online procedures that a candidate must complete before proceeding to the offline mode:

Step 1: Apply online admission form

Step 2: Candidates have to fill out the separate online application form

Step 3: The admission list will be declared by the University based on the online application received for admissions.

Step 4: The selected candidate's name will be displayed in the study centre

- If a study centre is not available, candidates will be notified at the correspondence address provided on the application form, and the university will assign a study centre.

Documents required for Admission

Mark sheets and certificates of required educational qualifications that are being self-attested and attested.
Print a copy of the online application.
Completed anti-ragging affidavit must be attached in original and submitted.
ST/SC/OBC candidates must submit a caste/class certificate issued by a competent authority.

Students must visit the official website, http://www.uprtou.ac.in, to apply online for their desired courses. The following is a step-by-step guide to applying for the BCom programme at UPRTOU:

Step 2: Select “New Registration”.

Step 3: Fill in all the required details.

Helpful if you wish to do study along with job anywhere.

Placements: In my knowledge number of student placed in any company was low. Students basically do this course and get job in company as a trainee only. It took me 4 year to complete my course. I will not suggest to do B.Com from this place if you wish then do at your own risk.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good in this university all facility is provided it have a large campus situated in phaphamau Allahabad. All cultural activities along with study are done here time to time. Have Good teachers too. Generally it is a good place for students.

Faculty: Yes teachers were highly qualified and were helpful for students. I think curriculum need an improvement for being industry ready. Semester exams are moderate. Average pass percentage is 60 to 70. a good percentage with these faculty. Exams are student friendly.

Other: I choose B.Com from uprtou Allahabad as it gives a good chance for study along with study. Online course video should be given and study material should be dispatched on time.

I am somewhat satisfied with this college as I don't have to attend college regularly.

Placements: It is an open university, and the placements are not at all available in this college. This college doesn't focus on placements. Every student only thinks of completing their respective degree for any purpose. I am pursuing CA, so I just want a B.Com degree. This is the only reason I am pursuing graduation from here.

Infrastructure: Our college has an excellent infrastructure, and the library contains all types of books and magazines. But Wi-Fi is not available on the campus. It is an open university, so it doesn't include any hostel. It has 3 huge buildings of different departments, and each building has its own entry.

Faculty: Teachers here are well qualified and knowledgeable. They provide quality education. The curriculum is very much relevant as they organise many events for respective courses. For B.Com students, they organise camps related to business and startups, which are very useful.

Other: I am pursuing CA, so I want a non-regular college. I just want our college to work on their study centre.

We need some more extra curricular activities and honours courses

Placements: It is a mediocre college but still A grade reputed institute. 80 percent of students don't want jobs cause they have their own family business. But for those who are genuine for their studies get their jobs according to their capabilities. Most of the students after college run their own business or become teacher.

Infrastructure: Computer labs are good and teachers working at computer science facility are very nice. Library is below average because I love reading fictional books but no fictional books are available at the library. Canteen is average. Teachers of our college are above average.

Faculty: Yes teachers are very good but they are mostly frustrated because more than 650 students take admissions for one batch and I think faculty should employee some more teachers. Yeah, some teachers are very supportive if you are serious about your studies.

Other: I had chosen bachelors of commerce because I took commerce in my intermediate. Campus is average and we want some more fests and extra curricular activities.
