An honest review on BIT Sindri.

Placements: Students become eligible for placement from their sixth semester. Around 50 to 60 companies visit every year in our college. Around 90 percent placement rate in our college. If your target is the core sector, you should definitely join this institution. The average package was around 5 to 6 Lacs per annum.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure was not so good but it's okay. Some buildings were old. But now the new hostels and lecture halls are under construction. A new hostel was opened this year named Twenty Nine. The mess food was decent and it charges 3900 per month. All sports are available in our college.

Faculty: All the faculty members in the institute are highly qualified in their fields. They have very good teaching skills and you can easily understand the entire concept. All faculty members are very cooperative. Faculty also support cracking exams like GATE. You will get an in-depth analysis of all subjects.

Better than any other tier 3 college.

Placements: Approximately all students got placed with a salary package of 8 LPA. The highest salary package offered is 16 LPA by Vedanta. Top recruiting companies are Tata Steel, Vedanta, JSW, JSL, and Aditya Birla Group. There are 10 branches in the college. The average salary package offered is 8 LPA.

Infrastructure: There are classes with approximately 150 seating capacity. The infrastructure is of very old style. There is a library, canteen, gym, and three big grounds to play. All departments have separate buildings and one common lecture hall for the first year.

Faculty: Teachers are very experienced, helpful, and highly qualified. Some of them are ex-employees of DRDO and ISRO. They conduct lab classes very seriously because it has marks. There are two mid-semesters and one end-semester each semester. We have 1 viva also. All of them have internal marks.

Other: It is a value-for-money college and also gives a better return on investment. The infrastructure could be better.

UCET VBU Hazaribagh review.

Placements: On campus placement and internship opportunities are very rare. 95 percent of the students are unplaced every year. Although many students work hard on their skills along with the degree and acquire good off campus placements through LinkedIn, twitter etc.

Infrastructure: It has a large spread campus area with nature friendly experience and have all most every engineering facilities such as labs, library, workshops, playgrounds, indoor courts etc. Hostel is also available but hostel are just manageable and nothing interesting.

Faculty: Faculties are good and supportive but the only thing I dislike is that there are very rare events, sports competitions and other extracurricular activities are organized. The students themselves need to come forward to organize desirable events and extracurricular activities.

Placements: 50% students were placed in our course. 4, 6, 8 are offered in our course. Wipro, TCS, Accenture are top companies recruiting for our course. 60% students got internships in top companies. Projects in different fields are offered in our course and also provide best guidance by our teachers.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library, and digital boards are available in our department. Wi-Fi, mess with good quality, canteen, and also sports and games, these facilities are available in our hostel. In sports and games, different sports are provided to explore students' talent.

Faculty: Yes, our teachers are very helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. Our teachers' teaching quality is good. Of course, this course curriculum is relevant, and it makes the students industry-ready. The difficulty level of semester exams is moderate to high, and the passing percentage is 35%.

This college is one of the best colleges in Hazaribagh in comparison to others.

Placements: Only a few students will be placed from this course because there is no option for on-campus placement. For students who go for off-campus placement, it will be 4-5 Lacs. After completing the course, you can only go for off-campus placement or pursue a Master's degree.

Infrastructure: It is okay because classes are good, but still on a green board, not a smart board. There is one projector, but it also got defective. The condition of the lab is good, but the system update is still old. The hostel is in good condition, food facilities are very good, and the samosa in the mess is very delicious.

Faculty: Teachers of this course are very helpful and supportive. The teachers are very well qualified. The curriculum of the course is useful, but only in the theory section. Practical and practice depend on students to be industry-ready. The semester examination level is moderate in difficulty.

The faculty and the campus is really good, but the placements are not good. Only few get placed.

Placements: I got admission in 2023, after which I interacted with many seniors and talked about placements, and according to them, the placements are not good. Some small companies come and hire a few good students, but the packages are very decent. Till now, the highest package offered is 7LPA only and the average is 2-2.5 LPA. The biggest problem is that all the students are not getting placement offers.

Infrastructure: I think this is the best part of our college. The campus is very good having a green garden and a play ground along with an auditorium which is also big having AC, labs and classrooms available. The classrooms are not extraordinary, they’re simple like that of our school’s. Sports and games are also played in our college, recently, they organized a sports tournament.

Faculty: The teachers are really good and supportive. They teach frankly and the students can also interact with the teachers easily. But, the worst part is that they all are not highly educated with some of them being okay. Labs and workshops are also available in the college. Semester examinations are held by JUT (Jharkhand University of technology) in every 6 months. Exams are a little tough, you can pass easily but they’re hard to score good.

Other: I chose CSE because firstly I am interested in computers and secondly it is very demanding along with a good salary offered post this course. I think the college should focus on placements and internships which is the biggest drawback of our college. Events and fest are also held in our college, two big stars came last year in our college, Stebin and Darshan Raval.
