ICAI CA January 2021 Exam Dates Announced

The ICAI CA Foundation, Intermediate (IPC), Intermediate (New Scheme) and Final course exams will be conducted from January 21 to February 7, 2021. Check course wise schedule here.

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the schedule of examinations to be held in January and February 2021. These CA exams have been scheduled for candidates who opted out of November 2020 examination.

In the official notification announcing the schedule, ICAI has specified exam duration and timings. "Candidates may note that two of the papers viz. Paper(s) 3 & 4 of Foundation Examination are of 2 hours duration. Similarly, Elective Paper - 6 of Final Examination (under New Scheme) is of 4 hours. However, all other examinations are of 3 hours duration,” the notification states.

“It may be emphasized that there would be no change in the examination schedule in the event of any day of the examination schedule being declared a Public Holiday by the Central Government or any State Government / Local Holiday,” it adds.

Earlier, the November examinations were conducted from November 21 to December 14 at over 1,000 test centres in over 300 cities across India amid COVID-19. About 4.71 lakh students were expected to take the CA exams at the test centres.
