The JEE Main 2025 exam pattern is available on the official information brochure. There will be 75 Multiple choice questions to be solved in 3 hours.

Candidates who have valid documents in support of the OBC-NCL list and opt for the OBC category will be granted a 27% reserved quota in every course.

All Economically weaker section candidates will be allowed for a 10% reserved quota in every course. Candidates must also present the valid document in support of their EWS status.

The NTA released the JEE  Main 2025 official information brochure, which contains information about shift timings. There are two shift timings; 09:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. (IST) and 03:00 P.M. to 06:00 P.M. 

The NTA has announced to release of the JEE Main Session 2 city intimation slip in second week of March 2025.

The NTA published a public notice about the discontinuation of optional questions for selection in Section B of the JEE Main 2025 Examination.

The NTA will conduct the JEE Main 2025 session 2 exam between April 1 to April 8, 2025. Candidates must carry the admit card with valid ID proof in the exam hall.

The NTA is yet to release the JEE Main 2025 city intimation slip for session 1 on the official website. CAndidates can expect the city allotment information to come out on the jee main NTA website any time soon.

The JEE Main 2025 session 2 application form last date is February 24 as per the information brochure of JEE Main 2025. Candiates must fill out the application form several days before the deadline to avoid the issues.

The JEE Main 2025 session 1 will be over on February 12, 2025. Registration for the JEE Main 2025 session 2 will start on January 31, 2025. All candidates who have filled the JEE Main 2025 session 1 form can fill the session 2 JEE Main 2025 application form with the same registration number.

The NTA has announced the tentative date for the release of JEE Main session 1 result. THE NTA will release the JEE Main 2025 Result by February 12, 2025.

Candidates will be notified about the window to raise objections against the provisional JEE 2025 session 1 answer key. Candidates can follow the below given steps;

• Log in using the Application Number and Password to log in.

• Click on the link for "Provisional Answer Key for JEE Main 2025 Session 1".

• Select the Questions to Challenge and Click on the corresponding "Challenge" button.

• For each question you challenge, select the correct option and Candidates must provide a detailed justification with supporting documents such as textbooks, as per the requirements.

• Pay the Processing Fee of ₹200 per question using credit/debit cards, net banking, or UPI.

There is no fixed date announced for the release of the JEE Main 2025 answer key release. However based on previous trends, The NTA will release the answer key for the JEE Main 2025 session a few days after the exam, tentatively within a week.

The NTA has already announced the JEE Exam date for session 1 & 2. The NTA will conduct JEE Main 2025 session 1 exam on January 22, 23, 24, 28, and 29, 2025 in two shifts; morning and evening.

Yes, Candidates will have English, Hindi, and Urdu as pan India JEE Main 2025 exam language. 

Yes, candidates will be able to opt for Urdu in all centers for the JEE Main 2025 Exam.

The JEE Main 2025 will be conducted in many centers all over India and the Exam language will be English + regional language model. CAndidates will get the option to take the test in their regional language also.

The JEE Main 2025 brochure contains information related to the reservation quota for each category. The NTA has notified a quota of 5% for PwD candidates in each category; UR, OBC, SC, ST.

Candidates must know that they must produce the medical certificate for their disabilities as per the notified structure in the JEE Main 2025 information brochure. As per the brochure"

The medical authority for certification as mentioned above should be a multi-member authority comprising the following: -
i. Chief Medical officer/Civil Surgeon /Chief District Medical Officer, Chairperson
ii. Orthopaedic/PMR specialist
iii. Neurologist, if available*
iv. Clinical Psychologist/Rehabilitation Psychologist/ Psychiatrist/Special Educator
v. Occupational therapist, if available*
vi. Any other expert based on the condition of the candidate as may be nominated by the Chairperson."

As per the official information brochure of JEE Main 2025, “compensatory time should not be less than 20 minutes per hour of examination for persons who are allowed use of scribe / reader / lab assistant."

The NTA has released the JEE Main 2025 information brochure which contains the required information about the provisions for PwD candidates. The NTA will allow the PwD/PwBD candidate to have a scribe in cases where disability might hamper reading/ writing skills. As per the latest JEE Main 2025 exam pattern, NTA has made some changes in the exam pattern by removing the optional questions from section B of the JEE Main exam. Now, Every section will consist of 25 questions, totaling 75 questions in physics, chemistry, and mathematics. 

No, NTA has not announced any change in the JEE Main 2025 syllabus. However, NTA announced the JEE Main 2025 exam pattern changes in October 2024.

As per the NTA notification, the city allotment for JEE Main session 1 will be available in the first week of January 2025. The JEE Main 2025 session 1 city intimation slip will soon be available for download.

The other backward-class candidates who belong to the Non-creamy layer will get a reservation quota of 27% in every course as per the JEE Main 2025 official information brochure.

AS per the official information brochure of the JEE Main 2025 exam, the Scheduled caste will have 15% of seats reserved in every course through JEE Main 2025 exam.

The NTA will release the JEE Main 2025 admit card 3 days before the actual exam date for session 1.  Candiates can download the session 1 admit card using the login credentials from 19 January 2025 onwards.

The JEE Main 2025 Session 1 exam will be conducted between January 22 to January 31, 2025. The JEE Main 2025 Admit card will be available just 3 days before the JEE Main exam date.
