Atal Rankings ARIIA 2020 DECLARED; IIT Madras topped the list in best institute category

Indian Institute of Technology Madras, or IIT Madras again topped the rankings in the category of ‘Best Centrally Funded Institutions’. In the category of ‘Private Institutions’, Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology, or KIIT, Odisha emerged as the winner.

Atal Ranking 2020 Announced! The Vice-President of India, M Venkaiah Naidu, today, i.e. August 18 declared the result of Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements, or ARIIA 2020. According to various media reports, in Atal ranking 2020, Indian Institute of Technology Madras, or IIT Madras again topped the rankings in the category of ‘Best Centrally Funded Institutions’. In the category of ‘Private Institutions’, Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology, or KIIT, Odisha emerged as the winner. For the first time ever, ARIIA 2020 rankings or Atal Rankings 2020 also has a special prize category for ‘women Only Higher Educational Institutions’.

What is ARIIA 2020?

ARIIA is an initiative by the Ministry of Education (MoE) which is implemented by All India Council for Technical Education, AICTE and Ministry’s Innovation Cell, Government of India.

ARIIA 2020 Objective

The objective or ARIIA 2020 is to rank higher education institutions and universities in India by evaluating them on the basis of certain parameters. The parameters according to which these institutes are evaluated and ranked are Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Startup, and Development amongst faculty and students.
