CUSB Exams 2021: Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) is all set to conduct an open-book online examination for its fourth, sixth, eighth and tenth-semester students. According to the official reports, CUSB Open-Book Exams 2021 are all set to begin from June 21 and continue until June 30. Amid the ongoing pandemic situation, universities and colleges are opting for alternative methods to conduct exams in view of the safety and health of the students and staff members. Talking about University’s decision to conduct open-book exams via virtual mode, the university’s public relations officer (PRO), Md Mudassir Alam, told that the open-book examination would be conducted in the online mode with a view to protecting the students from COVID-19.
In order to make students understand the process of open-book examination, CUSB also conducted a virtual orientation programme in this regard on June 16. Talking about the orientation programme, the University said, “The undergraduate students understand the mechanism of an open-book examination”. The programme was attended by as many as 223 students where CUSB teacher, Swati Gupta, explained to them the format of the papers, nature of questions, time, mode and manner of submission. The remaining doubts were clarified by other faculty members, Ravi Kant, Mozammil Hassan and Manish Kumar Gautam.
The devastating second wave of the novel coronavirus resulted in the closure of universities, schools and other educational institutions across the country. The closure led to the delay in various academic events such as exams, results, admissions, convocations and so on.
