GTU is conducting examinations for sixth-semester students of diploma courses and for eighth-semester students of the Bachelor of Engineering course. The examinations will continue until June 25.
GTU Exams 2021: Gujarat Technological University commenced the online examinations for final semester students on June 15. According to the report, around 5,000 students were expected to take the examinations. Talking about the conduct of online exams amid the ongoing pandemic situation, the University said, “Separate arrangements will be made for students who are not able to take the online examinations.” GTU is conducting examinations for sixth semester students of diploma courses and for eighth-semester students of the Bachelor of Engineering course.
The examinations will continue until June 25. Considering the ongoing novel coronavirus situation and restriction imposed across the country in order to contain the virus spread, GTU has decided that for all other semesters, it will give merit-based promotions. GTU has said that students not appearing for the ongoing online examinations will have to take offline examinations. However, the exact decision on the conduct of the examination in offline format will be declared later by the varsity.
GTU has recently completed the online examinations for first-semester students. According to the information released from the University, more than 95 per cent of students in the first semester of degree and diploma courses in all faculties participated in the college exams that were held online.
GTU is now planning online examinations for the master's courses; for Semester IV. According to the information released by the varsity, GTU Exams 2021 for PG courses and for Semester IV will be conducted from June 21. In order to help students get familiarize with the system to conduct online exams amid COVID-19, GTU also conducted mock tests.
