RRB ALP Result 2024 (SOON) LIVE Updates: Loco Pilot CBT 1 Scorecard, Cut Off @rrbapply.gov.in

Part A of the second stage CBT comprises 100 objective-type questions from Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, Basic Science and Engineering and General Awareness on Current Affairs. The duration of the test is 90 minutes. The marks scored in Part A alone are used to shortlist candidates for further stages of recruitment process subject to the condition that they secure qualifying marks in Part B.

There are negative markings in RRB ALP exam. 1/3 marks are deducted for wrong answers in RRB ALP exam.

Candidates 15 times the number of vacancies are selected for the second stage CBT. The CBT 2 exam comprises two parts.

The process for RRB ALP score calculation is given below:

• The raw score of the ALP exam is calculated out of a total of 75 marks

There is no facility to recheck RRB ALP result. RRB ALP result announced by the examination authority is considered as final.

In the case of two or more candidates securing the same marks, their merit position is determined by age criteria, i.e., the older person is given higher seniority.

RRB ALP CBT 2 exam pattern for Part A and B is given below.

Part A

Part A of the second stage CBT comprises 100 objective-type questions from Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, Basic Science and Engineering and General Awareness on Current Affairs. Part B

The exam duration of Part B is 60 minutes. Total 75 questions are asked in the exam. This part is qualifying in nature and comprises questions from the trade syllabus prescribed by the Director General of Employment & Training (DGET). Candidates with ITI/Trade Apprenticeship qualification are required to appear in the section having questions from the relevant trade. Candidates holding Degree, Diploma and HSC (10+2) having eligibility for the posts of ALP have to select relevant trade from the list of trades listed against their engineering discipline/HSC (10+2). The relevant trades for various engineering discipline/HSC (10+2) for appearing in the qualifying test are as below.

The basic pay of RRB ALP and additional perks comprise up the monthly reimbursement. The basic wage for each selected candidate will be INR 19,900 per month. Along with this, their monthly RRB ALP in-hand income will also include a variety of perks, such dearness, house rent, medical, and so on. Therefore, the monthly RRB ALP in hand pay will roughly fall between INR  24,000 and 34,000. 

CBT 1 will have 75 questions for 75 marks and the duration granted to resolve the questions is 60 minutes. 1/3^rd ? marks will be deducted for each wrong answer in CBT 1.

Marks normalisation is a statistical process used to adjust the scores of candidates who appear for the same exam but in different shifts. This method ensures that no candidate is disadvantaged or advantaged due to the difficulty level of the question papers varying across different shifts. RRBs use the percentile equivalence method for normalizing the scores of candidates.
