IGNOU Admissions 2021: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) introduced a new Diploma in Value Education (DPVE) in its January session. Candidates interested in IGNOU Admissions 2021 must note that the course aims to train elementary school teachers and inculcate positive values among the teachers, parents and students. The programme would also focus on raising awareness and societal awareness among NGO workers. Interested candidates can apply for the programme at https://ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in/. IGNOU Admissions 2021: Diploma in Value Education (DPVE)
Diploma in Value Education (DPVE) comprises of 32 credits including Overview and Perspectives of Values (4 credits), Socio-Psychological Basis (4 credits), Pedagogy of Values (4 credits), Application, Support Skills and Activities (4 credits), Life Skills Education ( 8 credits) and Human Rights in India ( 8 credits). The programme will be coordinated by Dr Grace Don Nemching and Prof BK Pattanaik.
Currently, the Open University is offering around 105 courses through the SWAYAM portal. Meanwhile, IGNOU has also launched a series of online courses. A new certificate course in Mobile Application Development (CMAD) through open and distance mode is also introduced by IGNOU recently. The programme is for six months’ duration and students who have cleared class 12 can also apply for the course.
