IGNOU 2025 Admission, Re-registration Last Date Extended; How to Apply for January Session?

Indira Gandhi National Open University has extended the IGNOU 2025 January session registration last date 2025 till February 15, 2025. Along with the fresh registration, the authorities have also extended the IGNOU 2025 re-registration last date till February 15, 2025. Students willing to apply for IGNOU admission 2025 can now fill the application form online from the web portal. Earlier, the IGNOU 2025 admission last date for the January session was January 31. However, students are suggested to not wait for the registration last date and apply at the earliest to avoid last-minute discrepancies.
The IGNOU 2025 online registration link is activated at ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in for all interested and eligible candidates. The IGNOU 2025 registration last date has been extended for all programmes in online or ODL mode. Students are suggested not to wait for IGNOU fresh registration last date 2025 and apply at the earliest to avoid last minute hustle. The documents such as scanned photographs, educational qualifications, experience certificates, signatures and category certificates will be required for admission purpose.

Here are few things that students will recieve after taking admission in IGNOU:
- Once a students get admission into IGNOU, he or she will recieve the enrollment number and ID for future login to the samarth portal of the university.
- Based on the choice made by the candidate while filling the application form, he or she will then recieve the study material. Soft copy is available on the official website of the university.
- Registered students also recieve a mail from the regional or study centre for counselling. It is an induction ceremony where the course is introduced to the students.
- A schedule of classes is also shared through mail. For any query regarding classes, students must contact their study centre.
