IISER BS-MS Admission 2021 via JEE Advanced, KVPY, other exams to begin soon

IISER admits students to the BS-MS (Bachelor of Science-Master of Science) dual degree programme through JEE Advanced, the entrance test for the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana, or KVPY, exams.

IISER Admissions 2021: Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISERs) is all set begin its admission application process for BS-MS students. IISER admits students to the BS-MS (Bachelor of Science-Master of Science) dual degree programme through JEE Advanced, the entrance test for the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana, or KVPY, exams. According to the official notification released by the institute at iiseradmission.in, the institute will be releasing the details regarding the application form and admission process soon.

Students interested in IISER Admissions 2021 for the BS-MS dual degree programme can also appear for the entrance exam – IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) 2021. Details of the entrance exam will be available soon.

IISER BS-MS dual degree programme Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must note that IISER will be providing admission through Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) channel and JEE Advanced. IAT 2021 will be held for State and Central board exam toppers.

Candidates can access the syllabus and model question papers of the entrance exam on the official website.The five-year dual degree program focuses on learning integrated with research and interdisciplinary activities. IISER offers this programme in the following areas:

1. Biological Sciences
2. Mathematical Sciences
3. Chemical Sciences
4. Geological Sciences
5. Economic Sciences
6. Earth and Climate Sciences/Earth and Environmental Sciences
7. Engineering Sciences (Chemical Engineering, Data Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science
8. Integrated and Interdisciplinary Sciences (Biological Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Data Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Physical Sciences)
9. Physical Sciences

Only IISER Bhopal offers the four-year BS program in Engineering Sciences and Economics. The Central Government established IISERs to integrate and promote interdisciplinary science education and research. There are a total of seven IISEsRs all over India, each located at Berhampur, Bhopal, Kolkata, Mohali, Pune, Thiruvananthapuram and Tirupati.
