- A copy of the JEE Main 2025 admit card printed on A4 size paper.
- A passport-sized photograph that should match the one uploaded while filling out the application form.
- A valid photo ID proof, such as an Aadhar card, Voter ID, Class 12th admit card, Passport, PAN Card, Driving License, etc. The ID proof must have the photo printed on it.
- PwD/PwBD candidates must carry their PwD/PwBD certificate issued by an authorized medical officer.

NTA JEE Main 2025 Paper 2 Exam Live Session: Important Instructions to be followed
Candidates must follow the following instructions as prescribed by the authorities-
- Candidates must reach the exam centre two hours before the exam time.
- No candidate shall be permitted to leave the Examination Room/ Hall before the end of the examination.
- After the completion of the exam, candidates must wait for instructions from the invigilator. The candidates will be permitted to move out, one at a time only.
- If religion/customs require you to wear specific attire, please visit the Centre early for thorough checking and mandatory frisking.
- No Candidate would be allowed to enter the examination Centre, without admit card and undertaking, valid ID Proof, and proper frisking.
- Candidates must not carry any personal belongings, such as electronic devices, sheets, or mobile phones inside the exam hall.
- Shoes/footwear with thick soles and garments with large buttons are NOT permitted.
- If a candidate goes for bio-break /toilet, he/she should undergo the mandatory frisking and biometrics again.
- Blank paper sheets will be provided in the exam hall. Candidates must write their name and Roll Number at the top of each of the sheets and must drop the sheets in the designated drop box without fail, before leaving the Examination Hall/Room.
- The scribe accompanying the Person with Disability (PwD/PwBD) should not solve the questions. The scribe must mark the response chosen by the candidate only.

Chemistry- Chemistry was rated as easy to moderate and served as a time-saver. Almost all chapters were covered, with Inorganic and Organic Chemistry dominating, while Physical Chemistry had fewer questions. Most theoretical questions were directly based on NCERT, making the section straightforward and quick to complete, allowing students to allocate more time to other sections.
Physics- Most students found the Physics section easy, with many questions being theoretical. The distribution of topics was balanced, with an almost equal representation from Class 11 and Class 12. Key topics such as Mechanics, Waves, and Thermodynamics were adequately covered, while Electrostatics, Optics, and Mechanics had a stronger presence. In contrast, Modern Physics and Magnetism had fewer questions.
Mathematics- The Mathematics section ranged from moderate to difficult. Questions were well-distributed across most chapters, with topics like 3D, Vectors, Binomial , Conic Sections, Matrices, and Determinants being prominent. However, Calculus had fewer questions. While the difficulty level was not excessively high, the lengthy and time-consuming nature of many questions made Mathematics the most challenging section for many students.
