The last date to submit the online applications for the PG/PhD admissions is April 20.

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi invites interested candidates to apply for the PhD, MTech, MDes and MS programmes. The institute has begun the application process for the said programmes at its official website i.e. www.iitd.ac.in. According to the latest update on IIT Delhi PhD/PG admissions 2020, the institute has extended the last date of application in the wake of nationwide lockdown due to the novel coronavirus. Now, the last date to submit the online applications for the PG/PhD admissions is April 20.

IIT Delhi admissions: Steps to apply

Students are advised to go through the official notice regarding the admissions released by the institute before applying for any programme. Interested candidates can apply for IIT Delhi PhD/PG admissions 2020 following the steps mentioned below.

Step 1: Go to the official website of IIT Delhi i.e. 'ww.iitd.ac.in'
Step 2: On the homepage, go to the ‘important announcement’ box and click on ‘admission notice’
Step 3: Before applying, read instructions carefully

Step 4: Click on ‘apply online’ link
Step 5: A new webpage with input fields will open

Step 6: Enter your details and register

Step 7: Fill the application form, upload images and scanned documents
Step 8: Complete the payment process and click ‘submit’

IIT Delhi PhD/PG admissions: Fee Payment

In order to complete the application process, completing the payment process is mandatory. The fee amount varies for the general and reserved category. According to the notice, the bank charges will be borne by the student and there will be a separate application portal and application fee for MSc (Economic)

Meanwhile, the campuses are closed and classes are suspended of all the academic institutions due to the nationwide lockdown in the wake of the novel coronavirus. Any offline procedure related to admissions will be taken up into action after April 15.
