LU Admissions 2021: Lucknow University has prepared a new four-year undergraduate course under the new National Education Policy. Students interested in LU Admissions 2021 must note that they will receive a total of 192 credits in this course, 24 credits in each of the eight semesters. The varsity will award a bachelor's degree with research upon completion of the four-year undergraduate course. The special thing is that at the end of every year, students will be able to leave the course.
Reports suggest that LU is busy preparing the four-year undergraduate course for the past week. The varsity received consent to this after preparing the syllabus on June 23, from Vice-Chancellor Professor Alok Kumar Rai. Spokesperson Dr Durgesh Srivastava said that under the instructions of the National Education Policy, intra-departmental and inter-departmental options will be given to the students in the subjects.
In addition to this, LU will also make arrangements for co-curricular courses and vocational courses. Under Lucknow University 4-year UG course, students will study two Majors, two Minor, co-curricular courses and vocational courses. There will be a total of 20 papers in Major One; 4 credits will be given in all the papers. There will be a total of 12 papers in Major Two, and four papers in Minor.
In the first semester, students have to clear two Major 1 papers, two Major 2 papers, 1 minor paper and a total of 24 credits of study will take place with the curricular course. After the third year, the student will be able to pursue a bachelor's degree.
The fourth-year is the specialty of this new course. In this year, in the seventh semester, the student will be exposed to the principles of research through the paper of Research Methodology. Apart from Research Methodology, the student will have five more papers that will be related to the research of his subject. In the eighth semester, the student will undertake a major project of 24 credits. After completing both these time levels, the student will be awarded a bachelor's degree with research, completing the fourth year of education.
