Outlook has released the Outlook-ICARE MBA Rankings 2020 online. The rankings cover the top private MBA institutes operating in India.

Outlook has released the Outlook-ICARE MBA Rankings 2020 on the official website. The rankings mention the top 150 private MBA institutes running in India. The Outlook-ICARE India MBA Rankings 2020 survey is an outcome-based assessment, developed with deep insights from the industry and backed by strong research. This year, the top rank was awarded to XLRI Xavier School of Management, Jamshedpur with an overall score of 87.16. S. P. Jain Institute of Management & Research, Mumbai stood at the second position with a score of 81.01 followed by Management Development Institute, Gurgaon with an overall of 79.24 at rank three. Some of the other deserving MBA institutes in India are Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani (10), Jaipuria Institute of Management, Noida (38), Delhi Institute of Advanced Studies, New Delhi (75), Gitam School of International Business, Visakhapatnam (112), and International School of Business and Media (ISB&M), Pune; Jaipuria Institute of Management, Indore; NIMS University, Jaipur; NIIT University, Neemrana; Universal Business School, Mumbai etc. in the range band of 126-150. 

Outlook-ICARE MBA Rankings 2020: Methodology

The goal of the rankings is to design a comprehensive framework with an aim to assess institutes offering MBA and related management degrees in India on globally relevant and employability-oriented parameters. The parameters used to assess rankings are Faculty-Student Ratio (FSR), Research Productivity and Quality, Faculty Experience (Teaching/Corporate), Faculty with PhD, Gender Diversity, Regional Diversity, Median Salary, and Employability.

The overall rankings are in three broad categories:

1. Figures for all parameter heads are given for the top 25 and top 75 public and private institutes, respectively;
2. Only the total score is given for 76-125 (private); and
3. Since those in the 26-30 (public) and 126-150 (private) band have almost similar scores, the overall score is avoided for them. The institutions for which no scores were given are arranged in alphabetical order.
