The application dates for KCET 2018 Exam has been released on the official website. As per the official website, the KCET 2018 exam is scheduled to be conducted from April 18 - April 19, 2018.

Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) is conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority. It is a common entrance test which forms a gateway to offer admissions to the interested candidates in various undergraduate and professional programmes offered by different government and private colleges in the state of Karnataka. Through KCET, the candidates can seek admissions to the Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, Unani, Naturopathy & Yoga, Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Farm Science courses offered in over 220 Government / University / Private Aided/ Private Un-Aided Professional Educational Institutions in the state.

KCET 2018 Application Process

The candidates willing to seek admissions to the 4 year BE/BTech programmes offered at the government and private college in the state of Karnataka through KCET need to follow the instructions given below. These instructions will guide you through the complete application process from Application sub missions to the final admission process of the candidate.

Step 1: KCET 2018 Application Form  

The very first step when applying for KCET 2018 exam is to get yourself registered in the official website of KEA. The candidates will have to fill the KCET 2018 application form on the official website.

The candidates are requested to take a printout of the filled application form and preserve it as it will be required to submit the application form during the document verification.)

Step 2: Uploading the Photograph and Signature 

After completing the filling of application form, the candidates will then be asked to upload the scanned copies of their recent passport size photograph, specimen signature and left thumb impression as per the specifications.

Step 3: Payment of KCET 2018 Application Fee

After the candidates are done with the application form filling and upload of the required documents, they will be asked to pay the application fee as prescribed for registrations by the board.

KCET 2018 application fee can be remitted via State Bank of Hyderabad, Indian Bank, State Bank of Mysore or through e-post office.

Step 4: KCET 2018 Admit Card

After the application submission process is successfully completed, the authority will issue the KCET 2018 admit card on the proposed date. Karnataka CET 2018 admit card will be made available to download for all registered applicants. KCET admit card 2018 carries a few details which including test timings, exam venue as well as other exam instructions along with the Name, Photograph and Signature of the candidate

How to download KCET 2018 admit Card?

Click on KCET 2018 admit card link on the official website.

Candidates will be asked to enter their KCET application number and Date of Birth.

Click on ‘Print Admit Card’ of KCET 2018.

The candidates are advised to take the print of their KCET 2018 admit cards and preserve for future reference.

Step 5: Appear for KCET 2018 Exam

At this stage, the candidates will have to appear for the KCET 2018 written examination. All the candidates appearing for KCET 2018 are requested to carry their admit cards to the exam center otherwise they will not be allowed to enter the exam hall. 

Step 6: KCET 2018 Exam Results

The results for KCET 2018 exams are typically announced in the last week of May, every year. After which, the authorities commence with the seat allocation process and document verification process through KCET Counselling.

Karnataka CET is conducted for the domicile candidates in the state of Karnataka. Being from Hyderabad, you are not eligible to appear for the exam.
