Karnataka Government introduces free coaching for PU students ahead of KCET 2025

Karnataka Examination Authority will soon release the KCET application form 2025 online at the official website. Ahead of KCET 2025, the Karnataka government has launched an initiative to provide coaching for preparations. The initiative will benefit 25000 students from the first PUC, second PUC and Adarsh government PU college. KCET 2025: The Karnataka Examination Authority will soon release the KCET application form 2025 online at the official website. Applicants looking for admissions to engineering and other courses will be able to fill KCET 2025 application form at kea.kar.nic.in. Ahead of KCET 2025, the Karnataka government has launched free coaching classes for students preparing for engineering and medical exams. As per the scheme, a total of 25000 students will be selected for coaching classes from the first PUC, second PUC and Adarsh government PU college. The selection of students will be made based on the entrance exam conducted by the coaching institute. A total of 10000 students will be selected from each first & second PUC classes while 5000 students will be shortlisted from Adarsh government PU college.

Candidates selected for the program will get a unique login ID and password to attempt classes. The coaching classes will be held in school only after and before the school timings. To evaluate the performance of students, regular tests will be conducted. Students across various schools welcomed the decision of the government. As per students' reactions, students will get a bright opportunity to ace the exam with good marks.

The officials mentioned that shortlisted candidates will receive credentials to access study material while other students can also access the online classes. Additionally, he also stated the classes will be conducted in both Kannada and English. The government will plan to expand the programme to one lakh candidates by next year.   

Karnataka Examination Authority has not yet released the KCET exam date 2025. Candidates looking for admissions to engineering, Pharmacy, Nursing and others are advised to keep tracking KCET official website for latest updates.

Karnataka Examination Authority has released the KCET 2025 exam date at the official website. Applicants looking for admissions to engineering and other courses can check the KCET exam dates at kea.kar.nic.in. KCET 2025 exam will be conducted on April 18 & 19. KEA conducts KCET 2025 exam in offline centre based mode. Candidates appearing in the exam must carry their KCET admit card 2025 and one valid photo ID proof. KCET exam date 2025 for Kannada language exam will be released separately.  

Q: Β  Can I use a calculator during KCET 2025 exam?

No, Karnataka Examination Authority will not allow candidates to use calculators during the KCET 2025 exam. Applicants are also not allowed to carry any electronics devices like mobile phones, pagers and other items inside the exam centre. Applicants appearing in the exam can use their question paper for rough work. The authorities will allow candidates to do calculations and rough work in the question paper booklet. Any candidate carrying restricted items inside the KCET 2025 exam hall will be disqualified from the admission process.

KEA will release the KCET 2025 admit card at the official website. Applicants appearing in the exam have to carry their KCET admit card along with one valid photo ID proof at the exam centre. Candidates are allowed to carry their pen/pencil, face mask, and water bottle inside the exam centre. However, KEA will not allow candidates to appear in the KCET 2025 carrying restricted items at the exam centre. The items restricted inside KCET exam hall are given below.

  1. Geometry or Pencil box
  2. Handbag
  3. Purse
  4. Eatables
  5. Mobile Phone/ Earphone/ Microphone/ Pager
  6. Calculator
  7. DocuPen
  8. Any metallic item or electronic gadgets/devices.
