Various talented speakers are brought in by the college to share their experience and to help broaden the minds of students on various careers one can opt for.

Don Bosco College Panjim-Goa has a Placement Cell, which has been started with the intention of providing campus recruitments to the most deserving students. This may sound partial or unfair but to your relief let me state that it trains the rest of the students for future interviews. Mock interviews are conducted in 2 consecutive years for the BBA department where an entire subject is solely dedicated to this context. The main aim of this program is to help young and budding talents to bloom with confidence in future prospects. As a part of the program, there are soft skills training program introduced to enhance the student's performance. There are various career guidance seminars conducted to enlighten the student’s minds. This is done often so as to lead the students in despair. Various talented speakers are reached out by the college to broaden our minds of the various careers one can opt for. Recently the BBA department had a team from Mumbai visit the final year students to share their experience in the corporate world and what are the options we can go for.

Besides, well-known companies like Varun Beverages, Zydus OptiWiz, Aegonreligare, Beard Design, Tea Trunk, Guest Houser, All state and Country Inn & suites visit the campus. Students are also placed in HDFC bank, Chowgules, Vivanta, Centrum, Maruti Suzuki, Hotel Fidalgo, Grand Hyatt, Dempo limited, Indigo and so on, at the management level. The BBA course is eligible for 10+2 pass with 50% or more score. Entrance Exam UGAT has to be given along with a personal interview also minimum attendance rate is 75% which has to be maintained by the students. The duration of the course is 3 years with 4 semesters for the first year and second year wherein the last semester is counted as the summer internship of 8 weeks. The third-year students have to submit a project report in the 11th term.

For BBA (travel & tourism) they get placements in the airline industry, hotels, as tourist guides, event management such as Thomas cook, Air India, cox and kings, Grand Hyatt and taj Vivanta. The eligibility criteria are the same as for the BBA department with a 40% score or more. As well as the attendance criteria remain the same. The students have to answer the Entrance test and personal interview in order to get through. The duration of the course is 3 years and it includes 2 summer internships of 8 weeks in the first 2 years and the final year consists of 3 terms followed by campus recruitment.

For the Bachelor of Arts in Social Work, the eligibility criteria remain the same as BBA (t&t). It is a 3-year course which comprises of 6 semesters. The minimum attendance required is 75%. The students have to give an entrance exam as well as face a personal interview. The students are placed in Childline -Goa, Little Angels- Punjab and El- Shaddai- Goa. The main aim of this course is to prepare the students to develop a career involving social welfare. Similarly, there is MSW which is the next step after the Bachelor's degree. Here too, the students are placed in protective Homes (WCCD), J-Pal, Tripura foundation, and Matruchaya. It is a 2 years master’s course and comprises of 4 semesters.

BPES (Bachelor of Physical Education and sports) is recently added to the Don Bosco Family. It is an undergraduate course of 3 years and one can pursue masters after this. The students are given placements in schools and companies who are in the final year of the program. BPED (Bachelor of Physical Education) this course is designed for students who have already graduated and are interested in becoming physical education teachers. It is a full-time 2-year course. The second-year students are given placements in schools, higher secondaries, and colleges at the end of the year.
