The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) clarified that the board will be conducting CBSE 10th and CBSE 12th board exams.
Refuting the rumors, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) clarified that the board will be conducting CBSE 10th and CBSE 12th board exams. According to the reports, the clarification from the CBSE came after rumors regarding the cancellation of the CBSE 10th examination started making rounds on the internet.
The CBSE in its latest tweet clearly stated that the board stands by its previous decision and it will be conducting pending exams for CBSE 10th and CBSE 12th students. While proving the rumors wrong, the board said, “Recently there has been a lot of speculation regarding 10th CBSE Board exams. It is reiterated that the board’s decision to take board exams for 29 subjects of class 10 and 12, stands the same as mentioned in circular dated 1.4.20.”

The reports regarding the cancellation of CBSE 10th exams started making rounds after Delhi Education Minister Manish Sisodia asked Human Resource and Development Minister Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ to cancel the pending exams of CBSE class 10 and CBSE class 12 student. He further suggested the government to release CBSE 10th Result 2020 and CBSE 12th Result 2020 based on the internal marks.
However, the latest tweet by the board states that CBSE will be releasing CBSE Class 10 Date Sheet 2020 and CBSE Class 12 Date Sheet 2020 once normalcy is restored. The pending board exams of CBSE will be conducted for 29 main subjects only.
