Students have reported that their CBSE 10th Mark sheet is showing the wrong Date of Birth, and there DOB is mentioned as year 2020. Read further to know more.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the CBSE Class 10 Results 2020 on July 15, 2020. Students have been eagerly waiting for the Board to announce the CBSE Class 10th Result 2020 which has been delayed by more than one month this year. However, in a hurry to declare the CBSE 10th Result, the Board has done a major mistake in one of the most important entries i.e. Date of Birth (DOB). As per the Date of Birth mentioned by the CBSE in CBSE 10th Mark Sheets, many students have been marked as born in 2020 and some are even scheduled to be born on December 1, 2020.
Most of the students have reported that there DOB has been marked incorrectly by the Board. Some students also reported that their date and month of birth has been marked correctly in the CBSE Class 10 Results 2020 Marksheet, however, the year has been marked wrong. Some are even reporting the wrong dates and months.

Along with the results, the CBSE 10th Result 2020 Mark Sheet has also been uploaded on the DigiLocker. Class 10 Mark Sheet is one of the most important documents, as the DOB mentioned on it is considered as a bonafide document for date of birth. At many stages in life, people prefer showing their Class 10th Marksheet as equivalent to birth certificate. Further, CBSE has often reiterated that the DOB in the mark sheet would not be changed once published.
However, the students said that the CBSE 10th Admit Cards does not show any error. However, the Digital Marksheets downloaded by the students from Digilocker shows error as well as on the cbseresults.nic.in scorecards.
CBSE 10th Result 2020: How to get Marksheet Error Rectified?
All CBSE Class 10th students are advised to check if the error is there in their mark sheets too. In case yes, then report it to the CBSE. At this point, it seems to be a technical glitch and in all probability, the board would recall the mark sheets and make the correction. Due to some technical error, the system has picked up the wrong YY to display from the YYYY mentioned in the examination forms. If the mistake is found in all mark sheets, CBSE will recall the mark sheets and correct them. In case there are only a few cases, the Board will rectify it for the students who will approach the Board for the error and to get the mar sheet rectified.
