Stating that in case of students remain dissatisfied with the evaluation process and CBSE 12th results 2021, Anurag added that CBSE would also provide an option of re-examination.

CBSE 12th Results 2021: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) assured that the results for CBSE 12th Exams 2021 students would release before admissions to higher universities begin. The Board secretary, Anurag Tripathi assured the release of the results soon on Thursday, i.e. June 3, 2021. CBSE secretary further said the Board would ensure that students won't face any issues when it comes to results. Stating that in case of students remain dissatisfied with the evaluation process, Anurag added that CBSE would also provide an option of re-examination. "If students would not satisfied with the evaluation process then an option of re-exam is available for them after COVID-19," Tripathi added.

The statement came days after the government stated that the CBSE 12th Exams 2021 stand canceled amid the ongoing pandemic situation.  Prime Minister Narendra Modi took the decision to cancel Class 12 CBSE Exams 2021 at a high-level meeting chaired. It was decided that the CBSE will take steps to compile CBSE 12th results 2021 for students as per well-defined objective criteria in a time-bound manner. "We are making sure that students do not face any issues when it comes to results. Want to assure students that they will have their results before admissions to higher universities begin," CBSE secretary said. Tripathi also informed that structuring the criteria for evaluation of Class 12 students will take at least two weeks. "The process of completion of the criteria for evaluation of Class 12 students will take at least two weeks," he said. "We are in the process of structuring the criteria for Class 12 evaluation. We will put it in the public domain once it is completed. The decision is yet to be made," he added.

Meanwhile, the vice-chancellor of Delhi University also stated that they will adjust its admission process to the extraordinary situation without compromising on merit. Reports also suggest that the application window for DU Admissions 2021 will open by July 15. Joshi added that the Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) can be a good method. Talking about the commencement of the admissions process, Joshi said discussions will be held with the admission committee and the academic council of the university to finalise the process of admission to undergraduate courses. According to the data, nearly 98% of the applicants to Delhi University are CBSE students.
