HRD Minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, took to his social media account on Twitter and declared that he will be making an important announcement for the students preparing to appear for the CBSE 10th, CBSE 12th Board Exams.

The Human Resource and Development Minister, Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ made an important announcement regarding the upcoming CBSE Board Exams 2020 for classes 10 and 12. According to the revised schedule for pending board exams by the Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE would be conducting the CBSE 10th 12th Board Exams 2020 in the month of July i.e. is from July 1 to July 15. HRD Minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, took to his social media account on Twitter made an important announcement for the students preparing to appear for the CBSE 10th, CBSE 12th Board Exams but are stranded in other states or districts.

Mr Pokhriyal in his tweet said, “Students, who are currently not in the same district as their board examination centers due to #lockdown! I have advised  @cbseindia29 to shift your examination center to your current district. Kindly get in touch with your respective schools for further information."

While addressing the students, the minister further added, "Class 10 and 12 students who have to appear in pending board exams but have moved to different state or district during the lockdown when schools were closed, will be able to appear for exams at their present place only. They will not be required to travel back. The CBSE will issue a notification in this regard and modalities for registration of such requests."

Earlier in the morning, Mr Pokhriyal tweeted, "Attention! Students who are currently not in the same district as their board examination centre, we have a major announcement coming their way this evening. Stay tuned!”

"The class 10 exams will be staggered on four dates, starting July 1. The first paper will be of Social Sciences, while the next day students will be required to appear for Science exam," Sanyam Bhardwaj, the Controller of Examination, CBSE said earlier.

The class 12 students will be appearing papers such as Business Studies, Geography, Hindi (Core), Hindi (Elective), Home Science, Sociology, Computer Science (Old), Computer Science (New), Information Practice (Old), Information Practice (New), Information Technology and Bio-Technology.

According to the sources, CBSE 10th results 2020 and CBSE 12th results 2020 will be released later in July-end or in the first week of August.
