CBSE Board Exam 2020: The Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE is all set to conduct the pending CBSE Class 10 and CBSE Class 12 board examinations from July 1, 2020.

According to the revised CBSE 10th date sheet 2020 and CBSE 12th date sheet 2020, both CBSE Class 10th and 12th exams will conclude on July 15, 2020. According to the official decision taken by the education ministry and CBSE, the CBSE Class 12 Board Exams 2020 will be conducted across the nation whereas the CBSE class 10 exams 2020 will be held only for students of North East Delhi who could appear for the exam due to the violence in northeast Delhi.

CBSE board exams 2020 got postponed by three months in the wake of coronavirus pandemic in the country. Along with the CBSE board exam, many states postponed their 10th board exams and 12th board exams across the nation due to the COVID-19 lockdown.
In the past few days, the board released various instructions and guidelines regarding the pending board exam 2020. Students appearing for the pending CBSE Board Exams 2020 i.e. CBSE 10th and CBSE 12th exams 2020 must go through the following list of important points related to 10th board exams and 12th board exams that are yet to be conducted:
CBSE Board Exam 2020: Important points to remember
- The CBSE allowed all specially-abled students who need scribes to write their exams to skip the remaining CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 board exam 2020. Further, the CBSE will implement an "alternative assessment scheme" for students with disabilities who do not appear for the exams.
- The board also announced that students will appear for the exams in their own schools and not external test centres to ensure minimum travel for them. The board official said, "Schools will be responsible for ensuring social distancing norms are followed and students will be required to carry their own sanitised bottles and cover their face with the mask.”
- From measures to deal with cyberbullying and stalking to digital rights, freedom and responsibilities, the board has come up with a cyber-safety manual for students from class 9 to 12 to ensure the development of safe and healthy online habits among them.
- CBSE would issue a ‘Permission Letter’ to the students who have requested for a change of examination centre and accordingly allotted another centre.
- No examination centres would be allotted in containment zones. In case a school is falling within the containment zone, the students of these schools would be allotted a centre outside the containment zones.
- The HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal announced that the CBSE 10th Results 2020 and CBSE 12th result 2020 will be declared by August 15. "Efforts are being made to declare the result by July-end itself. The evaluation process has already begun for the board exams and will continue to be held simultaneously with pending exams," the HRD minister said.
- Earlier this month, CBSE announced to resume the free of cost tele-counseling service for students from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm, seven days a week from June 1, 2020, up to July 15, 2020.
- CBSE will allow change of examination centre in respect of candidates who have shifted and are residing in some other district in the country than the place of their school. Students who are either residing in hostels and have moved back to their homes, students sponsored by state government as well as students who have moved to another district (other than the one where there schools are located) can apply for a change of examination centre.
- Private and regular candidates, both are eligible to apply for a change in examination centre based on which district they are currently in and would be in at the time of the examinations in July.
CBSE Board Results 2020: CBSE 1Oth, 12th Results by August 15
The HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal announced that the CBSE 10th Results 2020 and CBSE 12th result 2020 will be declared by August 15. "Efforts are being made to declare the result by July-end or August itself. The evaluation process has already begun for the board exams and will continue to be held simultaneously with pending exams," the HRD minister said. This year too, the results of both the classes will be declared at an interval of a few days.
