Talking about the pending CBSE 10th and CBSE 12th examinations, the HRD minister answered various questions raised by the students related to CBSE revised date sheet, CBSE evaluation process, and CBSE result 2020.

The outbreak of the novel coronavirus followed by multiple phases of lockdown until May 17, disrupted the academic activities all across the country. Suspended classes, postponed exams and delayed results plagued students with anxiety and stress. The students’ who were supposed to appear for the class 10 and class 12 board exams were affected the most. Giving them some relief, the minister of Human Resource and Management, Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ cleared all the air.

Talking about the pending CBSE 10th and CBSE 12th examinations, the HRD minister answered various questions raised by the students related to CBSE revised date sheet, CBSE evaluation process, and CBSE result 2020. Answering the queries of the students, the minister said that CBSE 10th examinations are over for all the students of the country except the ones belonging to the North-East Delhi, who couldn't write their exam due to the law and order situation in northeast Delhi. For these students and for class 12 students, Mr Pokhriyal announced the CBSE Class 10 Date Sheet 2020 and CBSE Class 12 Date Sheet 2020.

The minister further talked about the CBSE evaluation process to release the results. Therefore, the Ministry of HRD has released a statement saying, "Evaluation for Class 10, 12 board exams to be done at home by teachers" during coronavirus lockdown. Union HRD Ministry revealed some crucial details about the CBSE results 2020 evaluation process. The minister stated that 3,000 CBSE schools in the country are selected as evaluation centers. From these centres, more than 1.5 crore answer sheets will be sent for evaluation to the homes of teachers. This process will be completed in approximately 50 days.

In his tweet, Mr Pokhriyal said, “I am confident that this will help us to quickly evaluate the 1.5 crore answer sheets. The results will be declared after the board examinations (scheduled between July 1 and 15). I sincerely thank Shri @AmitShah ji and @HMOIndia for the relaxation.#IndiaFightsCorona”

The step taken by the ministry will help the teachers release CBSE 10th Result 2020 and CBSE 12th Result 2020 soon. As CBSE is releasing new updates every day, the CBSE Class 12 date sheet 2020 for pending board exams is expected to be out soon.
