CBSE 12th Compartmental Result 2020 Declared! Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) formally announced the CBSE Compartmental Exam Results 2020 for the Class 12 students. According to the official information shared by the board, a total of 59.43% of students who appeared for the compartmental exam for Class 12  cleared the examination. CBSE 12th students can now log onto the CBSE result portal, i.e. cbseresults.nic.in to check and access their results online.

CBSE 12th Compartment Exams Results 2020: Statistical Highlights

For the 2020 session, the Compartmental Exam for Class 12 students was held amid the precarious situation of the pandemic. Despite all the challenges, the board managed to complete the evaluation work and announced the CBSE 12th Compartmental Results 2020 in a record time of 8 days. Along with the publication of CBSE Board 12th Compartmental Exam 2020 Results, the board also provided some key statistical highlights of the examination. 

  • Exam Dates: September 22 to September 29
  • Exam Centres: 1234
  • Result Declared in 8 Days
  • Total Number of Students Registered: 1,16,125
  • Total Number of Students Appeared: 1,05,847
  • Total Number Students Passed: 62904
  • Overall Pass Percentage: 59.43%

How to check CBSE Class 12th Compartment Result 2020?

Step 1: Go to the official websites of CBSE, i,e cbse.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in 

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the download ‘result link’

Step 3: Enter registration number/ roll number

Step 4: Results will appear on the screen

Step 5: Download, and take a print out for further reference.

Students must note that the board will also allow candidates to apply for the process of re-evaluation and verification of marks. According to the official reports, the application process for verification of marks will be open from the third day from the date of declaration of the result to the fourth day from the date of declaration of result. Students will also get a chance to obtain a copy of evaluated answer books from the class 12 date of declaration of result and re-evaluation applications will be accepted from the 15th day of result declaration.

This year, the result declaration process was delayed due to the COVID-19 outbreak followed by the nationwide lockdown imposed in order to contain the virus. CBSE released Class 12 results on July 15, while CBSE class 10 results 2020 were released on July 16. The pass percentage at class 10, 12 recorded at 91.46 per cent, and 88.78 per cent respectively.
